Westmore Home near Trails with Willoughby Lake View
Come enjoy all the northeastern Vermont has to offer! Whether hiking Pisgah or going right out the door onto 350 acres of state land or tons of other trails. Westmore is known for stunning Lake Willoughby with swimming, boating and has it's own Farmer's Market on Mondays. The Kingdom Trails for mountain biking are just 25 minutes away in East Burke. The surrounding towns have outdoor concerts, antiques, great food, craft breweries and historic sites. Or relax and take in the view from our deck!
This is a great place to unplug. We don't have TV, cable, big screen, totally reliable internet- cell service is not great either (AT&T seems to work best)- usually will work from wifi, but no absolute guarantee.
We had a great stay!! The view from the house was awesome. We rented kayaks one day from Clyde River Rec and spent the day on the lake. We also hiked to the summit of Mt. Pisgah. All very close by. There is basically no service in the area and wifi is unreliable but we totally enjoyed being off the grid! The Gap restaurant was close by and good. Mostly picked up food from local farm stands though. Overall great stay and owner was responsive!!
A very lovely home with an amazing view. Very tranquil and private grounds with good access to the lake and trails. The house was very clean and had all the amenities you would need.
Perfect location for a relaxing and adventurous Lake Willoughby getaway. 5 minute drive to the Lake Store for breakfast/lunch/dinner/drinks/live music. 5 minute drive to North Lake, a minute down the road from Sentinel Rock for sunset. 15 minutes to Clyde River Recreation for a kayak adventure and 5 minutes to Mount Pisgah North trail with a secret swimming spot at the bottom. The view from the porch is unbelievable. Photos do not do it justice. We sat out every morning. Debby is an excellent host - quick responses, spotless place, and has all the little things covered. We'd love to return to Debby's place and do it all over again.
