Do not book the breakfast. If you are from overseas and think the breakfast sounds like a good deal, it is not. The eggs were watery and the hashbrowns freezing cold. Food in Japan is actually really cheap. Even a family mart breakfast would be better and only cost like $6... the hotel in all other aspects was good however. The elevator always stopping at level 2 was a tad annoying and became a running joke

Actually we would say this is a 4.5 stars hotel! Clean. Good location. Good quality towels. Free drinks included. Bathroom they even offer Friday entertainment night! Free movie at restaurant area. Overall. It's a good quality hotel. Would recommend. (Oh...don't forget to try the bakery store located right next to the hotel. Very good bread / pastry / breakfast...enjoy it before you start your trip in Osaka).

Great room and hotel. Staff not consistent.

Great hotel, with spacious room, and wonderful amenities. The lounge was open for fancy coffees/teas (though the machine was broken on the last day/night). Beds were comfortable, lots of room to put our suitcases, and the shower/tub area was a little slice of paradise! Some staff members at the reception weren’t always very pleasant compared to experience so far in Japan, but overall great stay.

Entrance to the metro and to Family Mart is just next to the hotel. Approximately a 15 minute subway ride to Dotonbori, Osaka Castle, and Shin-Osaka Station. Room with 2 twin beds was very comfortable. PJs were great and they were changed every day.

Wonderful hotel right on top of the station which made exploring the city so much easier. The hotel is close to lots of non tourist cafes with matcha and coffee and lots of local restaurants with great options. Would return.

Excellent Location: Kitahama Station Exit is right beside the hotel (To get to this particular exit, follow sign for Exit #3) Good breakfast every morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room with a very comfortable bed.

Spent 8 nights at rhe Royal Park Canvas in Osaka Kitahama area ans had a great experience. The hotel was easy to get to with multiple metro entrances nearby but is far enough away from the really big crowds of people. It's also situated near the river/water so it makes for a nice evening walk. There are lots of cafes, restaurants ans convenience stores nearby as well so lots of options. It's also roughly a 20-30 min walk to Osaka castle and only a 15 min train ride to Dontonburi. Front desk floor is on flr2 and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. There are toiletries on the check in floor so you can definitely save on packing space and leave your toothbrush or hair comb at home. The hotel also has a buffet breakfast for an extra charge and it was pretty delicious. It boasts unlimited coffee, smoothies, yogurt, upon, curry, eggs, bacon and much more. We enjoyed having this as an option in the mornings. Breakfast runs till 10am. Our room was spacious for Japanese standards and had a beautiful rain shower and a deep soaking tub in it. Cleaning was provided daily for the rooms (different from north American practices) and everything was always immaculate. The hotel also has in house laundry, which was a life saver. 600 yen for a wash and dry and availability of the machines can be monitored on your phone in real time (Japan is legit the future). There is no in room control of temperature (a/c) which is inconvenient. The hotel area is also not very walkable for food or shopping. Had to take transportation to everything. The connection to the subway was very convenient, though.

Osaka is the place to be.

The hotel was very easy to get to from Shin-Osaka and is right next to Kitahama metro station. The people who work at the hotel were all very friendly, helpful and provided a very welcoming environment. It is the second time that I have used this hotel and definitely recommend it to anyone. The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for a good night sleep if you’re not going out. All in all a great experience.
