Oscoda Hilltop Haven - Great Location near Beach and Downtown! Pet-Friendly with New Central A/C!

This is a very cute and comfy home that is located in a great location just a few blocks from downtown Oscoda, the beautiful Au Sable River, and incredible Lake Huron. It's decorated n a fun retro / vintage style and is very cozy. Includes new central air conditioning, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, streaming television, and a private bonfire ring outside! Family-friendly and dog-friendly! Great for walking to river, downtown, the beach, and Lake Huron!

We have a local property manager that is available to address any issues.


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is located in the downtown residential district of Oscoda, just 3 blocks from downtown.


GUEST ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire house. Note that the basement is unfinished though and the only use that guests would have for the basement is for using the washer and dryer.


THE SPACE:

The home is decorated in a fun and cozy vintage / retro style throughout. It has a lot of cute little quirks and personal touches.


TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own vehicle.

The inside of the house was wonderful. It felt like a real lived in home, not some modern fake place. Just watch your first step down the stairs. They are painted black, so if the light is not on, it maybe a little tricky lol. Normal older small town home where the toilets flush a bit slow, but worked. The manager was wonderful. I had a little issue with the Wi-Fi. I sent her a text and she helped immediately. Very lovely home, and Dairy Queen and restaurants are only abut a thousand feet away for some yummy ice cream and food. Not to mention, easy walk to Oscoda Beach!The only real thing I was not impressed with was the landscaping. The grass was overgrown. I had to really clean out the fire pit for a fire. The front porch area was overgrown. It did not look like the nice landscaping pic that is shown. Other than that, the home is very beautiful on the inside.

Retro Getaway

The house has a cool, retro type of decorating style and was very comfortable. The only thing I would mention is that they should give renters a heads up that the driveway is located off of a side road and not the main road. It was hard to find it.

House on the Hill

Charming and lovely home with a spacious main level and all the needed accommodations. We enjoyed our stay and that it had a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of linens, blankets, pillows for the 3 bedrooms. The location is perfect with downtown & the beach access just a short walking distance away. Appreciated the large side & back yards for the dogs and the front porch. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend to friends and book again.

Oscoda on the hill!

This property accommodated my family perfectly, it had a great central location. The restaurants, the beach, tubing/canoeing, and ice cream were all in walking distance! The host was great as well. Will definitely be staying again!!!

Outdated but had everything we needed. This is an older home so doorway to bathroom was narrow & toilet was low. The close proximity to the beach & DQ out weighed the small inconveniences. The manager Kathryn was very responsive to questions & had turned on the air prior to our arrival.

Just steps from fun

This home was located perfectly between the AuSable River and Lake Huron. A couple blocks to the right and you can go tubing down the river and a couple blocks to the left your sitting on a beautiful Lake Huron beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back soon.

Great Oscoda Rental

The place is nice, a little cluttered, could use some TLC and some updates but the rental is in a nice location in Oscoda. You are able to walk to anywhere and about 0.5 miles from Lake Huron.
