This is a cozy and quaint inn, it has nice character and charm. It’s not a modern hotel at all, but it’s like a giant 5 storey house boutique hotel. It’s very convenient to walk to ByWard market and Rideau Downtown as well the Parliament building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The downside of it is the limited parking space, only less than 10 spots available. The rate was very good for what it’s worth. I booked one night then extended after I confirmed my stay in Ottawa.

The room was a really good size, and had a great balcony (although being winter, couldn't really utilize it). Very good location in the Byward Market. Had parking on site. Breakfast was good in the morning, with a number of different options. Overall, a very good experience.

This was the second time staying here and it met all our expectations and then some. The hotel is quaint and comfortable, our room had two twin beds with a little kitchenette and a balcony. Everything is very clean, the staff is very accommodating to help out or answer any questions, free water is provided in your fridge, a full breakfast every morning is a definite bonus. It's location can't be beat, just steps away from the byword market area with lots of restaurants and shopping. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The hotel itself is great. The space is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. My only complaint is parking. The car park has space for eight cars, and we were just fortunate to be able to get a space. The spaces are extremely tight (and not all guests park in between the lines, making it even harder to park), and there was one morning we had to get a staff member to move his car as we were blocked in. There was a bit of a push for us to check out early, assuming so he could use the space, but I made it clear we'd be back. This was at 6:30 a.m. with checkout at 11 a.m.! The "self parking available" is a little misleading when you consider this, as I'm assuming parking would be in a city car park next door. This is just something that needs to be noted better.
