The property check in was easy, staff was fantastic, and the hot springs and bar options on site was wonderful. I was a bit disappointed to be charged for pool towels and robe use, especially given the higher than avg. cost of the rooms. Additionally, the room could use some updates and smaller furniture, I.e., extra chairs and table were too large for the space. The TV didn't work, and the bathroom door didn't fully close. Despite these non-essential flaws we would still return!!!

Wouldn’t be my first pick

The place was mostly parking lot outside of the rooms. There wasn’t much mountain atmosphere or places to sit and be in the mountains. It was pretty much just parking lot out the door and crowded parking lot at that. Breakfast was good, but you had to eat in the restaurant. No food or coffee to go. Be warned, this is not a free breakfast in the hotel, this is a comped breakfast at the restaurant next to the hotel and you can’t even just sit and hang out with people in your family if you have gone earlier. Not can you take anything back to your room. If I were to visit Ouray again I would stay somewhere else for sure and just buy a day pass for the pool. And the room was hot. Air conditioner couldn’t quite cool it down.

The pools and springs were by far the best part. The rooms are very dated with bad squishy carpet. The carpet, old cloth chairs and brown throw pillows need removed.

I got duped by positive reviews, but this place is a total dump. The only positive experience was the actual hot springs, although there were quite a few seedy characters there, half naked, making out, unaware that there are children around. The “deluxe suite” was a dirty motel room. There is a lot of nickeling and diming: $5 to use a robe, $2 to use a bottle of water. The breakfast was rather awful both mornings we tried it; it was a recipe for a heart attack and very unappealing. They’re watching everyone to make sure no one takes anything out of the restaurant. This hotel’s approach is simply disgusting. I’ll come to Ouray again, but never again to this place. Yuck!!

Had to check in on a kiosk, no personal contact, so I think we missed a lot of amenities. The restaurant was ridiculous. Took 45 minutes after we ordered for them to come & tell us they were out of crust. The pool closes early, so we missed it altogether that night.

Charged my card an additional $150. Front receptionist Hung up on me when asked for an itemized receipt. Hot springs are green with algae. Staff absolutely rude. Do not recommend unless you want to spend a 1k for a weekend to feel like you went back in the past to your first apartment.
