We are a big family of 25. This cabin was so spacious and nice, it gave us room to have fun together and apart. The area was nice to walk, saw lots of deer. Would recommend!
It was a great family time, scenery was the national forest, had a whole group of deer that went by twice while there. There was plenty of room for everyone, as it worked out, all kids and each couple had their own room.
I hosted an annual getaway for a group of ladies from our church at Trophy Buck Lodge. It was a little difficult to find but once we did the fun began! The owner has hunted everywhere and his trophies are literally hanging out all around the living area and some bedrooms. Think along the lines of Cabela's or Bass Pro...it's intriguing to say the least! Then the ease and comfort of having all 24 of us ladies under one roof was amazing! The kitchen is huge and has just about everything you need. There's so many bathrooms that mornings were easy even with our large group. It's so spacious and the views are magnificent! Though the temps didn't cooperate with us, we were still able to eat outside on the enormous deck in the mornings and evenings. The one area that could use some attention is the cleaning/organization of the owner's items left behind in dresser drawers and closets. Granted, they have 7 grown children and almost 31 grandchildren that still will utilize the property - but since they rent the lodge out I feel they should make even the dressers and pantry's more accessible to their guests. Just my opinion! It won't stop me from renting this lodge again in the future tho! The owners are very kind folks who also live on the property in another cabin. They were accommodating and very friendly!
We had a great family weekend. Had several out of state families with kids of all ages. Hosts were gracious to allow early check-in in order to allow for different arrival times and food prep. Children loved the space indoors and out. Grownups loved the covered patio with the Arizona heat and occassional monsoons. The Lodge was everything we were hoping for and then some. Thank you
Debbie was a gracious and communicative host. My family spends new yearâs at a cabin every year. We love the fresh air, snow and spending time together. This cabin has many bedrooms, spacious living room and best if all an amazing and well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our trip.
Nice, big property for large groups. Plenty of space both inside and out for meals and social activities. Spacious kitchen to prepare food for large groups.
We finally did it! Found an exceptional home that met every possible request we wanted and needed to accomodate our two families for our celebration of Christmas. Sometimes pictures can make things look better than they really are but not this place. Everything you see in these pictures are actually what you get and THEN SOME!! We had 21 people ( from the OR coast to the beautiful mountains of CO) and guess what, there was not a single complaint from anyone. Our host and hostess were very accomodating in answering any questions and always being available. We hope to plan another get-together maybe sometime in the summer months. In the meantime, thank you Debbie and Mark Allen for letting us share your beautiful home and hope you have a wonderful and healthy New Year. Jan and Chester
We loved all the space in the huge kitchen and living area, the outdoor dining facilities, and the king sized beds. Mark was right next door and was very quick to respond to our questions and requests. The house is well stocked with everything thatâs needed.
We stay away from home often as a large group. This cabin comfortably fit 12 adults, 2 teens, and 8 kids. We had a few cancel at the last minute but they would have easily fit. We brought corn hole and board games and had plenty to do. The porch fits the whole group for meals. Hosts are kind and easy to reach. The kitchen was fun to use- you wonât need to bring anything but the food. Itâs even littles friendly with high chairs and kid sized picnic tables. Great cabin!
We had an amazing stay at Trophy Buck. Hosts are so helpful and quick to respond. This is our second stay. Though there wasnât any snow, we found some just a short drive away. The house has a lot to offer. The big kitchen is our favorite with the worlds largest cast iron skillet! We cooked eggs for 20 people!
