Relocating our son

We just needed a place for 2 nights to help our son find a place in a new city for his 1st job out of college. It's a quiet house in a very quiet neighborhood with very comfortable beds. Easy checkin!

Horrible experience with Host

We arrived at the property only to find another person inside. It had been double booked. When I reached out to the host I found no phone number in any of the messages. I sent some messages and was not contacted immediately. Once I found the phone number I had to call him. He immediately blamed VRBO and said I needed to contact them for a refund he couldnt do anything. He was not remorseful at all. He offered to send us to another home for the night. We arrived at the other home which was not the greatest but we needed a place to stay since we drove from Houston. I called VRBO customer service and told them what he said that were very nice and called the host to let him know HE needed to issue the refund and said the owner would accommodate us only to find that while he was lying to customer service as he was texting me stating he would charge me for one night. Unacceptable, since it was not my mistake. He said he needed to charge for a cleaning fee! Again not very understanding and not trying to remedy the situation. We ended up having to book a hotel that was 30 minutes away because everything else was booked nearby since we were in town for a large softball tournament. The people that were double booked in the home mentioned that we dodged a bullet as the home was not great. I will never book with this host again. Beware as his properties aren't what they seem and he lacks any kind of customer service skills. The VRBO customer service team were great though.

Ovenight in Overland Park

Nice place. Killed big spider in upstairs bathroom. Beds mattresses could be more comfortable. Cost of property is good but fees make it too expensive. Nice place. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Comfortable place to stay

We enjoyed our time there, the owner was always in communication and very friendly. The property was very clean and comfortable. The furniture was a bit basic, but we didn't spend a ton of time there, so it wasn't bad. The neighborhood felt safe, but there is a lot of people. We only had one vehicle and the driveway is long, enough room for probably three vehicle. The neighbors were having a party the night we got there and the street was filled on both sides. That was the case all four days we were there, but it wasn't a negative aspect. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

Great location

This VRBO was the perfect location for our stay in the KC area. It was also very affordable. The bedding could definitely use an upgrade, as well as the twin beds, but overall, for what we needed and the price, this was sufficient.

3BR/ 2BA described but disappointing

Finishings were either cheap or outdated. Arrived at night to instructions to enter between houses with nothing lighting the path or door way. Bedroom with twin beds was on the ground floor and has a window that did not lock. Master was in the basement. Basement was cold, top floor was hot. No tv in bedroom 2 or 3. Average accommodations at best.

If you're looking for a nice and clean place to stay I would recommend this booking. Only downside I would say are thin walls and floors. If you're sleeping downstairs you can hear if someone is above you.

fun in overland park

had a great time. the location is close to the high school and I could hear the band practice. I went for a jog and enjoyed the sidewalks around the neighborhood.
