Cleanliness was terrible. First room was filled with bugs - multiple alive and dead stink bugs on the pillow and windows, multiple dead ladybugs. The office chair had crumbs on it and the phone was dead. When we when down and told the front desk, they gave another room 2 rooms over which initially looked ok. While we were looking around this room, obviously unhappy with the situation, the guy straight up told us, "you can cancel your reservation" instead of apology or trying to fix . When we came back to the room 2 hours later had >10 live stink bugs and we found more ladybugs. The rooms were very cramped and the bed lights were not working. These are supposed to be newly renovated rooms. I would never go back there.

Our stay was pleasant. The rooms were nice and clean and new. The hotel is under renovations and there were some quirks as a result. Or first room had a new shower valve that would not stop dripping. The folks were kind to let us move rooms right away. Our door was tough to close because the bar lock was not aligned correctly after painting. And we had some key issues as well, but were taken care of promptly. My favorite part of our stay was the fact that the hotel is operated by LOCALS and the gentleman at the desk called me by name through our 5 day stay.

We were very disappointed with our stay. On Expedia it says 7 stars on Google it's like 2 stars and I understand why. When I stay at a hotel I always check the mattress for bed bugs. When I checked our mattress here I found some black stuff on the seam of the mattress and the mattress cover had blood stains from bed bugs. I was so upset. I asked for another room. They put us on the next floor up and said they were brand new rooms. I checked the mattress and thankfully it was clean but the sheets and comforter had holes in them. The door to the bathroom got stuck every time we tried to close it and the air conditioner/heater didn't work. Not to mention there was a couple that fought all night long screaming and throwing things. After I booked the hotel online I called to request a room by an exit door they said they couldn't guarantee me a room by an exit door. We are very unhappy with our stay. We will not come back. We have had this experience with a Wyndham hotel before. Check the reviews on Google before booking a hotel especially with Wyndham.

I stayed here bc the weather got bad in Owensboro. I was in room maybe an hour and saw a roach. I told the front desk and said he couldnt do anything. I didnt get any sleep will never stay there again. Could have at minimum moved me rooms. No customer service.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Front desk, room attendant, breakfast service, OMG they were like family. The carpet in my room was old and worn out and cheap, the shower dripping. Comforter was worn out, spa didn’t work and the pool was too cold and ambient temperature was too cold. We only tolerated it because the staff were so nice. We’re coming back to Owensboro in the next few months but I think we will find another place to stay. We’ll miss the nice people who work there but Corporate needs to do much much better

Under Renovation

I visited my brother, and we stayed at the hotel that is under renovation. Most things were new (not the remote) and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Shower door was hard to close and then kind of got stuck. Not ice bucket had to get one from front desk. Ice machine did not work on 3rd floor, but we did have a good stay.

I’m throughly enjoying my stay at this hotel! The atmosphere is incredibly quiet and peaceful, and my room is spotlessly clean. In my opinion, this is the best Wyndham property in Owensboro that I've had the pleasure of visiting. The front desk staff, particularly the gentleman who checked me in, were extremely helpful and friendly. I appreciate the laid-back vibe of the hotel, which made our stay feel very relaxed. Even with a rambunctious toddler in tow, we didn't receive any complaints from other guests, which was a welcome surprise! I'm already looking forward to my next stay here. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the condition of the hotel was severely lacking. I understand that it is currently undergoing renovation. However, when I called to make the reservation I was told that the pool and hot tub were both in working order. The hot tub was not working. The pool area was a mess. There were no towels. Our room featured stained blankets. Cracks in the walls.There were several cockroaches. And someone had carved their name into the bedside drawer. The continental breakfast was moderate. However, most of the bread items seem to be stale or close to it. I'm trying to add a photo but the app will not let me

They were remodeling. The room number was a post-it note. No frig, no coffee maker, no hairdryer, no tv remote, when I tried to call the front desk, the phone was not hooked up. The ice maker on the floor was not working.

Property is under heavy renovation and not advertised by Expedia. Very limited staff was amazing. Available room was pre-renovation and very heavily needed. Bodily fluid stains on chairs. Stains on pillowcases. Bedding smelled clean, but pillows smelled like smoke. It served it's purpose for a quick nap.

Website claimed it was "newly renovated" and had pictures of a beautiful hotel. I got there and it was in full construction. Im talking concrete saws cutting the lobby floors and sledge hammers breaking concrete. The whole 9 yards. I asked for a refund of a 3 day booking and they are giving me a hassle about it as we speak. I literally stayed 1 hour and was charged for the full 3 nights. I wouldnt let my dog stay here. Steer very clear of this one
