It's been beautifully maintained over the years and is ready to create lasting beach memories for you and your friends and family. It has vaulted ceilings and an open living, dining, and kitchen area. The upstairs loft master bedroom has ocean views with a luxurious tub. Be sure to enjoy the fenced backyard oasis with firepit.

What's nearby:
The home is walking distance to the beach - Pacific Beach State Park is one of the favorites, where you'll find a long, wide, sandy beach. The city of Pacific Beach is only a few minutes south where you can find shops, groceries, and restaurants.

The loft bedroom is not a fully enclosed room, but it offers privacy with a half wall and the option to use the screen.

This one was fine. It had lots of head things like plenty of towels, great furniture covers, lots of little thoughtful things. The porch is so cute, the windows were so lovely, the location was nice and quiet and private tucked in. I don't mind when the kitchens aren't great in these usually because we normally eat out a bit on vacation. But for this one we stayed in and the kitchen was rough. The burners are really unstable, the pots and pans are mixed and matched, no proper lids, and they are in not great shape. The knives were so dull that it crushed more than cut, and there wasn't anything to use as any storage. The front door doesn't latch properly, the stairs up to the second floor are extremely slippery. My dog couldn't safely go up them, so we didn't use that room at all. They need a tread of some sort, slick vinyl is just irresponsible. The sewer alarm may go off if you use too much water, and I'm not interested in home maintenance and monitoring while I'm vacationing. They had a list of chores to do as well, which I don't mind helping out, but don't charge me for housekeeping if I'm the one doing the laundry. A nearby neighbor is a chain smoker, so if you don't like that smell, stay inside. A couple of neighbors seem to have a bit of a hoarding thing going on, it's not the most well kept area. It was fine. I just won't be using this one again, and I'll avoid that Vacasa rental company as well. Zero real human feeling interactions, just generic corporation.

House was immaculate and well decorated.If view is not important, this is a great place to stay. The big windows do presentt a privacy issue but there the curtains and the privacy fold upstairs.Great beach a short walk or drive. Seabrook is minutes away.

The Blue Wave Cottage was ideal for our two night stay. It had everything we needed to cook our meals and it was convenient to hiking trails. All toiletries, dish soap/dishwasher detergent, washing machine soap, etc were provided. Although we didn’t use the back yard area due to the weather, it was nice to know we could have had a private area to hang out in. The area is quiet. While it did not matter to us as we were not there for the beach, there really is not a good ocean view from the main floor/living area. We would definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

After unpacking I sat down on the main bed, in the loft, and the bed frame immediately broke (photo attached). It was clear that they were aware of the issue and had done a bad job trying to fix it. We ended up sleeping on the mattress on the ground our first night which was not a great start to our anniversary trip. They were able to send someone out the next day to "fix" it with a ratchet strap and our stay was good after that. I requested a refund for that first night as it was a very disappointing start to our stay. The property manager said yes but has been avoiding my messages since then and I have yet to see any type of refund come back to my account! I was waiting to write this review. What a shame because it was otherwise a nice stay, but advertising two bedrooms when the main one has a broken bed frame is extremely unprofessional.

Fantastic Family Trip to Ocean

Our Iowa family visited the ocean for the first time, and what a perfect home base to have! This was a lovely home, let in soooo much beautiful sunlight. Very clean, very beachy decor, overall quality accommodations. Just a shirt walk to the beach, and could even see the ocean from the loft (see pic). Our only complaint was that the bed was quite firm. We would love to come back and stay again!

I love all the windows, that it was close to seabrook but not right in the town. The little culdesac was very cute. There was access to the beach within walking distance but we decided to drive. I loved the back yard and how it was fenced in, it had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals.
