Access miles of National Forest hike and bike trails directly behind the property. Take peaceful neighborhood walks by the lake, or a short drive into town with quaint shops and excellent dining. Rejuvenate in the town's hot springs or try your hand at fly-fishing!

The Whispering Pines Canyon Retreat house in Pagosa Springs was a great choice for our family vacation. We stayed for 12 nights and we really enjoyed everything the home had. We were able to bring our small dogs and they loved the fenced in area. The downstairs area was perfect for our grown children and child. They loved the games and huge couch! The home was spotless and very nice. Huge yard that backs up to a canyon where we saw lots of deer every evening. Top notch beds and bedding in all bedrooms. I recommend Riff Raff brewery restaurant! We ate there twice and it was wonderful. This home is convenient to everything in town. Steve,our host was always responsive before we came and answered all our questions. Thanks for sharing your home with us and we hope to see you next fall!

What an amazing location! Having the trail right out back was awesome, especially to help the dog get out some energy. The fenced in yard was nice in that we didn’t have to worry about the dog running off and exploring on her own. It was a perfect balance of peace and quiet yet being so close to town was nice. It was nice to have a nearby grocery store, and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and with the cool mountain air we slept amazingly! Steven was a great host and helped us find some nice local restaurants! We definitely will be coming back!

Wonderful place!

Our family met to celebrate our 30th anniversary and show our now adult children where we were married-Cumbres and Toltec train and where he proposed "old miner forty niner" restaurant. We also spent a few hours at the springs resort soaking in hot springs and swimming in San Juan river. This was the perfect place for us! Kitchen was perfect for making meals and enjoying family. spacious and all of the pans etc were in great condition! even left us snacks! also beds were so comfortable! all 3 bathrooms were so nice and was perfect for 3 families! My family kept saying how nice the place was and we have stayed in many places! It is really quiet and deer and squirrels, magpie, the smell of pine:) perfect for a dog too with the fenced in yard. Thank you!!! we would definitely come back and the realtor was available if any questions! card is on the counter.
