The hotel is in a good location with plenty of activities/excursions available in the town. The boat trip to the bay of islands is definitely worth doing. The room could do with renovating, but the biggest issue for us was the lack of a sink in the kitchen area. Overall it was OK.

Had a faulty power switch which started to smoke and flame had it done it in the night may have been interesting when charging wifes hearing aides. Also noticed that the smoke dedector was missing and an empty bracket on the wall Didnt seem to concern when we told them as it was the morning we where booking out They also didnt answer the emergency number i rang twice as i was mot sure if there was a potential fire still behind the wall Picture displaying the place do not even come close to its true condition.

We stayed 4 nights and loved it! Well the kids played in the pool every day, the rooms are a great size, and staff are very friendly. Having the supermarket right next door made meals super easy. Would definitely stay here again.

There was a small issue with our booking, so the manager gave our daughter her own room. She was very happy and so were we. I can recommend this motel.

Loved the shower pressure and very clean, didnt like the noise from the supermarket and the smokers in the next room which meant you couldn't leave your door open as the smell went all through the room.

The staff were excellent but both rooms offered were filthy , the walls were dirty , light switches were disgusting and the cutlery in draws and drawers were covered in old food . Benches were the same . The place needs a commercial clean or demolished
