Best secret spot!

I highly recommend this apartment as one of the best-kept secrets in Tamariu. We keep coming back year after year for a reason! Communicative hosts, personal touch, design flair, open, airy, just steps away from the beach… it hits all the right spots.

Nice and calm stay in Tamariu

The apartment is located in the center of Tamariu with all the local shops in <300m by foot. Although the apartment is located in the center it is a silent area. The apartment has all it needs for a couple with Mediterranean style for a light summer vacation. It is very clean and has a wonderful terrace from which one can view the harbour.

Beautiful setting but sadly really disappointed with our stay.

Lovely small apartment, well appointed with stunning view over the Bay, close to bars restaurants and lovely costal walks. Sadly we only had four days of R&R, we arrived to an overwhelming smell of bleach and once that wore off the shower room smelt of public conveniences and there was a pungent stagnant smell coming from behind the fridge. I got out two saucepans to boil some water to find both dirty with residue of past guests' food and the towels were so old and dank that i had to wash all again. The small double is a zbed and very soft so one of us ended up sleeping on the sofa with no bed linen. Main bedroom light didn't work with the light bulb hanging by an electrical thread. For an appartment that should sleep four, there was only one wine glass, one teaspoon and cracked old plates and bowls. We tried to contact airbnb via email, app, the agency and the host with the number given, all to no avail and eventually got a response two days later with a visit planned for our last evening which she never turned up, very frustrated as we had changed our plans to stay local. I have never complained or had any issue before so it is very unlike me to post a review like this but when your time is limited and you do not get the back up and support you think would be available it is rather disappointing. It is a lovely spot and with a little attention to detail would be a lovely place to stay.

Fantastic terrace

We enjoyed our stay at Tamariu 4 mainly because it had such a lovely terrace. The other guests on our floor (Tamariu 3) didn’t use their terrace so we felt very private and privileged to have such a pretty view to the sea. We were able to have all of our meals outside, which was a god thing because there was a bad drain smell in the flat a lot of the time. The flat it self is quite a good size for 2 people and the bed and the sofa bed were comfortable, however the flat was very basically equipped, there are no frills! Overall we enjoyed it and would stay there again, although we found the beach a bit busy for our liking so probably won’t! It’s a very popular beach and for good reason. The local tourist bus is great, so we could get around the local area very easily and cheaply.

Perfect location in very nice village

Tamariu is a very nice place with a few nice restaurants and lovely beach. The apartment has a perfect location. A stairs next to the building give access to the village and beach. You can park you (hired) car a little bit further on the hill at least we could in May. This was perfect. We were with 4 persons in apartment 4. Enough space and because you can close one bedroom enough privacy. Everything was great except two things. There was only one relax chair on the balcony. It was better if these were 2. The other chairs are not that comfortable. And the bed isn’t so good if you do not like a spring bed as we do. But everything looks nice and compleet in the apartment

Perfect place in a lovely beach resort at most beautiful part of the Costa Brava

The apartment is very cosy, tastefully decorated and well equipped. It offers a large balcony with a lovely view over Tamariu and a part of its beachfront. The host is very generous and immediately responded to our inquires. Highly recommendable.

In 1e instantie viel het ons tegen dat we het balkon gedeeld wordt met de buren. Parkeren in de buurt is niet eenvoudig! De ingang vinden ook niet, die ligt 46 treden naar beneden. De uitrusting van de keuken kan beter: 1 wijnglas, geen bierglazen. Koelkast is aan vervanging toe. Toch maakt het uitzicht en de ligging alles goed.

Perfect little spot!

We came here for the second time and enjoyed it just as much as we did before! Tamariu 4 is very close to the beach but also offers a quiet little balcony to sit and relax. It is simply furnished, but has everything you need except for a fan, which would be nice. Also important: it’s very clean!! We’re sure we’ll come again some day!

-El apartamento es muy acogedor y muy cercano a la playa, pero no está preparado para los meses de frio. Hemos estado en Diciembre y aunque hay un par de estufas eléctricas, ha sido necesario una estufa auxiliar. Y al usarla, saltaban los plomos cuando usabas otro aparato eléctrico cómo la cocina o el microondas. - Los horarios de entrada (15h) y salida (10h) condicionan mucho, sobretodo el día de salida que apenas tienes tiempo de desayunar. - El wifi no funciona, llega una raya al apartamento de forma intermitente con lo que es complicado realizar teletrabajo. - El bloqueo de los 200€ de fianza ha tardado más de una semana en ser devuelto, aunque sea por conflicto entre bancos, es un tiempo excesivo. - La cortina del baño estaba rota y quizá le faltaba un poco de limpieza en profundidad. - La exigencia de peticiones de la propiedad (tirar la basura, horarios, limpieza )debería ser tener en cuenta estas contrariedades. - Precios muy competitivos.

Très bon sejour

Nous avons séjourné à Tamariu 4. L’appartement est très joli et fonctionnel avec une belle vue sur mer depuis la terrasse où nous avons passé pas mal de beaux moments. Une vingtaine de marches d’escalier nous séparent de la plage et des petits commerces. Hyper pratique. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances et recommandons cet établissement ++++

En general el apartamento está bien aunque debería revisarse lo siguiente: La cortina del baño debería cambiarse así como el baño en general necesita un repaso con las humedades y óxido de grifería. La campana de la cocina y los utensilios deberían estar mejor limpiadnos. El ventilador daba asco ponerlo por todo el polvo que tenía incrustado.

El lloc és acollidor i tranquil, molt a prop de la platja, però falten estris de cuina, com també posar-hi vayeta i esponja neta per els plats, la que hi havia era utilitzada. Falta una nevera i congelador que refredi millor,.el lavabo faltava el sabó, hi havia una pastilla de sabó ja utilitzada. Pel que fa els llençols i tovalloles trobo que tindrien que ser d'un tacte més agradable. La neteja general correcta. Ho dic com a suggeriment per millorar. Gràcies. Carme.

Ideal location and wonderful hosts!

I had the pleasure of staying at Tamariú 4 with my toddler daughter for two weeks this August. I cannot say enough about the ideal location of the apartment, the spaciousness of the place and how clean and bright it was, with views of the sea and the hills! It was divine, quiet and safe and the host was a friendly and excellent communicator. For any reviewer complaining about the stairs down to the street, it was nothing at all for my toddler and me carrying beach bags, toys, umbrella, blow-up boat and groceries! At the risk of making this place too popular, I give it five stars and am already planning on coming back next year! Thank you Maria!!!

Simple and chic, great location, very peaceful

We loved our 4 night stay in this apartment. The flat is elegant and simple, had pretty much everything you need. It is located 2mins from the beach and restaurants. The balcony with sea view was so gorgeous and peaceful. To be honest, I did not want to leave, would love to take it as my own! The booking process and communication with Eva at EasyFlat was excellent.

Hace frío en estes días y la calefacción no funciona suficientemente bien. Me parece increíble pagar 125 euros y no tener ni jabón ni gel de ducha en el baño. No hay detergente ni un trapo para secar platos. No hay secador de pelo. Las llaves no funciona bien. Lugar fantástico.
