3-star hotel near Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple
There's a restaurant on site. Public spaces have free WiFi. Hotel Subham also features tour/ticket assistance, concierge services, and laundry facilities. Free self parking and valet parking are available.
Staff is not aware of the property. Not worth for the money. Was forced to pay again 1000 INR & the receipt was not given for the full payment. Not recommended for all
Very friendly and helpful manager and staff. Only trouble was that they did not want to give me a/c room I had paid for. They claimed it was Hotels.com who had maked a mistake. But they did not reply to my mail, even after 5 dayes now!
We booked a/c room they didn't give me a/c room. They told you have booked normal room so . We are showing the booking details still no respond from them
A decent choice for an individual or family looking for a short stay at a walkable distance to PALANI foothills to climb up or to visit Avinankudi temple...a bit pricey for the basic amenities...friendly staff and decent restaurant
The hotel is very near to the temple step entrance. A perfect choice families, especially who come with elder people and kids. The restaurant serves delicious food. The staff, speacially in the reception, very informative and friendly. Thanks to all.
The hotel is good and the stay was comfortable. But they are not honouring your discount/ secret pricing .I was told by hotel authorities that the discount given by hotels.com will not bind them.I paid full price as prescribed by the hotel and not the amount announced by hotels.com.To some extend I felt cheated.
I stayed one day just before Thaipoosam. Front office could be better. One supervisor is confused and lacks customer friendly attitude. Hot water was not coming. Receptionist said that it was due to crowd. Still not acceptable.
The Room Which I Stayed Standard Double Non A/C and I Paid Around 1400 Bucks. I Think it's Overpriced and Overrated. For That Price I Didn't Even Get Free Wifi on My Room. I Asked The Hotel Staff About Wifi They Said The Free Wifi is Available in the Reception Area Only For That I Have to Sit in the Reception For that I Paid Steep 1400 Bucks. It Was an Horrible Experience.
Pros:
Located right at the foothills of the Palani temple
Good room
Spacious bathroom
Very helpful and courteous staff
Cons:
Getting to the hotel can be tricky through the narrow lanes of the town
Hotel Subham offers an overall good experience consideration the limitation of a small temple town. The highlight of the hotel is the proximity to the Palani temple (it is literally located in the foothill of Palani hill). Having said that, it is slightly challenging to take your vehicle to the hotel Subham's parking area considering the busy alleys of Palani temple.
