I think I was a little disappointed based on the prior reviews. It is possible I had a slightly different experience but my room was so hot when I arrived at check-in time. I know it's in the desert, but the mini split AC unit was set to 78 when I arrived, and it never cooled down the entire night I was there. Me and my two senior dogs slept very poorly because of it. I don't know if it was this specific unit or if anyone else encountered the same thing. Also, the mini-fridge was not working. I called the front desk, and the maintenance person came, and brought in a unit from another room. He said this fridge would take 24 hours to cool down, and it also didn't fit in the original space and was bigger. I was only there for one night, so that would basically have been useless. I appreciated his help but I turned it away. I have special dog food for my dogs medical needs I need to refrigerate so it just added stress to an already stressful of traveling on the road. I was so tired and was already unloaded (traveling solo with two dogs), so I just decided to stay in my unit and suck it up. I had hoped to use the pool but there was a man staring out of one of the rooms in his patio door about two units down from me. I saw him while I was walking my dogs and he kind of grunted. Anyway, it made me. uncomfortable and I just decided to not use it. Plus, it was likely too hot outside to use anyway. Oh - one positive note was the breakfast! Made to order!

W really liked the area the hotel was in. When we got to our room it was 80 degrees in the room and the a/c was on and set to 70 but it never cooled down. We called the front desk and they told us to turn the a/c down. We did but it got warmer as the night went on. The pool was very clean and perfect temp but there were no towels. Lots of kids in the pool yelling and running. A few drunk folks drinking small liquor bottles in the pool and then throwing them out around the kids. They told us a lot of folks live in this hotel. We liked the distance to eat out. But later we found a syringe cap in our bed and took it to the front desk. We're our sheets even changed?? The front desk basically blew it off. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choices although the coffee they use tastes terrible.

The neighbors upstairs must have been bowling in their room way late into the night. I finally called the front desk to have them ask to keep it down. They said they sent security but it went on for another hour and a half. I then told the front desk when I was checking out and she didn’t say anything but “oh wow!” No kidding!!!

My husband had a hospital procedure. It’s a 15 minute drive from motel. So easy. I stayed by myself the 2nd night and felt completely safe. An awesome breakfast made to order.

Worst western plus attitude

It started with a very rude receptionist, apparently i wasnt what he thought should be staying . While making calls to arrange the deposit he was rude saying i can only give you a couple minutes then i will have to void the reservation which by the way was pre paid. Ice machines did not work. Housekeeping spoke no english, durìng the complementary breakfast they started clearing my utensils while i was still eating. And here ot is a week later and my deposit still has not been returned

This is a very outdated hotel. Not sure why it’s a plus but felt like a motel. Chips in furniture, stiff sheets, cheap carpet and upholstery, odd bathroom that looked like public gym room and maybe I should wear sandals, the check in was easy and friendly. The breakfast was busy and loud but the staff were great and they have an omelette station. That part was excellent but otherwise for a one king standard room for $185 I felt I overpaid.
