I loved our stay so much! The hotel is absolutely STUNNING. The pool is absolutely fantastic. I think the hot tub could be a smidge hotter but other than that this is a 12/10 for me. Would stay here anytime.

The property was charming with a beautiful outdoor area and stunning views, the room outfitted well. The issue was the strong smelling cleaners and detergents, with no windows that opened I ended up sleeping with the door ajar to get fresh air in that could dissipate the smell so I could try and sleep. Helped a bit but overall this issue prevented much sleep from happening

The hotel is an experience not a stay. The hospitality was exceptional. The room was beautiful. The bar had the best vibe, drinks, and we came on karaoke night and it was a blast. We didn't want to leave. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit.

The Velvet Rope staff was exceptional! Lulu our front desk greeter was friendly and walked with us around small their fun, stylish property. Our room was Studio 54 - disco balls, platform king bed and more! The bar/pool staff was equally friendly and helpful (actually super glued my broken earring!) We would have given five stars if we had adequate towel bars, and if the partying poolside guests would have been asked to disperse before midnight.

The Candelabra room was amazing, Liberace inspired. Filled with accessories making it such a unique guest experience. The bed was super comfortable, the staff was welcoming and the pool area is charming with plenty of cabanas. The whole hotel is a design delight. The bar lounge is elegant and vibrant, I was lucky as Saturday evenings they have live entertainment.

If you’re looking for a fun yet relaxing experience in Palm Springs no need to look forward. Our suite was top luxury and had no problem falling asleep after an evening of drag, lively conversations and libations. The pool was cool and the jacuzzi was like Marilyn Monroe’s Some Like it HOT! The proprietors were warm, welcoming and sincerely caring for our needs. M husband and I took advantage of the kitchen in our room and brought our own sandwiches, fruits and drink because we only wanted to lounge and relax during the day time. We will definitely be back and are so glad to have made so many friendships along the way!

We had a lovely stay at the Velvet Rope. The room was lovely and comfortable and staff were very friendly. Personally I prefer to support smaller independent hotels on trips where I can, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Downtown shops and cafes are within a walking distance, and the pool and hot tubs were enjoyable on a hot sunny day in January. I would recommend.

We can’t say enough good things about this place. The amount of thought and design detail that has gone into it is incredible and truly makes for a memorable, unique experience. We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday here, and I surprised him based on what I thought would make the stay feel special—he loves this type of vibe from what I could tell online—and it exceeded our expectations. The room and décor were absolutely stunning, and the Valerie Bar was a highlight of our stay. The speakeasy-style atmosphere, live music, and beautifully crafted drinks made for such a fun and memorable night. The bartenders were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming—and the entire staff was kind and accommodating from start to finish. We also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which were the perfect way to relax and unwind during our stay. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to others. It’s a little farther from the main downtown area, but not far at all—and we actually loved being just slightly removed from the hustle and bustle.

Honestly wish I could give 10 stars. This is THE greatest hotel in Palm Springs and one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The suites are exquisite - we stayed in the Rat Pack and the Design (I Love Lucy) suites. The design detail was impeccable. The staff was amazing!!!! The lounge is perfect - great drinks, fun energy, live music. Truly a PERFECT stay!!!!!
