The Neighborhood

The "Indian Canyons Neighborhood" is considered one of the most desirable in all of Palm Springs. It's a popular neighborhood, with many expensive homes, outstanding architecture, stunning natural surroundings, incredibly safe environment and extremely quiet grounds. Not to mention, that it's also a very walkable or bicycle friendly. And, it's only a ten minute drive from the airport or to the heart of downtown, where you can find a diverse selection of stores, restaurants and museums, for your personal enjoyment. It's definitely a premium choice location!

The House

The house has been beautifully designed by myself, as a little piece of paradise. It's an oasis in the middle of the desert. However, it's not a mirage. This contemporary home has all essentials, comes fully equipped, with modern accents, smart options and luxurious amenities. Among its features are, a tastefully furnished covered patio, a magnificent natural landscaped backyard, an exquisite salt water pool, a private hot tub, a cozy fire pit and a professional barbecue. One of its main assets is most certainly the spectacular golf course views you get throughout, including breathtaking mountain surroundings and exceptional sunrises, which makes it a very unique property. It's definitely the perfect place for any special stay!

The Guesthouse

The guesthouse is ideal for one or two guests, looking for a memorable experience, with daily services, luxurious amenities and beautiful setting. It has approximately two hundred fifty square feet of inside living space. And, it has direct access to the patio, backyard, pool, hot tub, fire pit and barbecue. It has been recently redecorated, with brand new contemporary furniture. It's comfortable, well equipped, filled with natural light and centrally heated and air-conditioned. There's no kitchen, although a small refrigerator, a microwave, a nespresso coffee machine and dinnerware are provided, as well as daily cleaning of dishes and towels. Access is through a locked and gated separate side entrance for complete independence. While I live in the main house, I offer complete privacy to you at all times. I do not enjoy the outdoors, nor do I make myself visible through the windows or I always make sure to close the motorized blinds wherever I move around. That way, you have the feeling of being on your own!

The Patio

The guesthouse opens to a very nice private patio, that extends the living space all along the back of the main house. It faces the yard, the pool and overlooks the golf course, with completely unobstructed views. It's partially covered, has ceiling lights, ceiling fans and is also well furnished. It comes with a wicker bistro set for dining al fresco, comfortable cushioned club chairs with ottomans, side wicker glass tables, large glass dinning table with chairs and a decorative fountain. The outside mobile cart, next to the guesthouse, is used to provide you with daily clean dishes and towels, as well as ice cubes, ices packs, bottled water and any amenities you would like to have refilled. The patio is the perfect place to read, have a meal or a drink and to admire the moonrise. It's accessible to you day and night. And, it's for your exclusive private use, not shared with anyone else!

The Backyard

The guesthouse offers direct access to a beautiful backyard, that wraps all around the house, pool, hot tub and fire pit, creating a luxuriant green carpet, that extends up to the unfenced edge of the golf course. It's filled with sunshine, from early morning to the evening. It has majestic palm trees, gorgeous variety of flowers, natural grass and several accent boulders. It's well furnished, with wicker lounge chairs, tables, umbrella and a cushioned egg chair. The backyard is the perfect place to sunbathe after a refreshing swim. It's professionally maintained. It's accessible to you day and night. And, it's for your exclusive private use, not shared with anyone else!

The Pool

The guesthouse overlooks a stunning large crystal clear salt water pool, for a most relaxing time. The pool temperature depends on the weather. And, is usually warm enough to swim from late spring, during the entire summer and into the early fall. Heating the pool is currently unavailable. The pool is the perfect place to refresh after a long sunny day. It's professionally maintained. It's accessible to you day and night. And, it's for your exclusive private use, not shared with anyone else!

The Hot Tub

The guesthouse path leads to a secret private in-ground salt water hot tub, when the temperature is too cold to swim, in the winter. It's available to you, on demand, to keep you warm and to extend the magic. The hot tub is the perfect place to warm up on a chilly night. It's professionally maintained. It's accessible to you day and night. And, it's for your exclusive private use, not shared with anyone else!

The Fire Pit

The guesthouse area leads to a lovely built-in natural gas fire pit, with comfortable cushioned seating. It has beautiful open view on the night sky. The fire pit is the perfect place to disconnect, to enjoy a cocktail, or to enjoy an appetizer. It's available to you, on demand, to keep you warm, while gazing at the multiple bright stars. It's accessible to you day and night. And, it's for your exclusive private use, not shared with anyone else!

The Area

To fully enjoy your stay, there are many activities nearby. In addition to downtown, you can tour the "Indian Canyons Neighborhood", to appreciate the unique architecture. You can play a round at the "Indian Canyons Golf Resort", north course, on which the house is located. This course is selected among the best of the valley. It's also famous for the many celebrities who used to play it. You can hike at "Tahquitz Canyon" with its waterfall, or "Indian Canyons", with several beautiful natural palm oases. You can take the aerial tram to the top of "Mt. San Jacinto", from which you can view the entire valley. It's absolutely breathtaking. "Joshua Tree National Park" is only a short drive and well worth a visit!

While I live in the main house, I offer complete privacy to you at all times. Beautiful view and amenities

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ken’s million dollar house. The room, while small, has everything you need. The location is perfect—close to 2 great golf courses and a short drive or bike ride into downtown Palm Springs. The outdoor amenities are picture perfect. Our Host is amazing. He thought through all the details for a 5 star experience, including special daily treats for us. Thank you!!
