We love Tidewater in general. It’s perfect for our family vacation. However, this particular unit had a couple of issues. A washer and dryer were to be delivered during our stay and I received numerous calls that they are being delivered, then not being, then are being again. They were never delivered. We were advised that we could take our clothes to laundry service free of charge. A refrigerator was delivered and we had to remove all stuff from old and place in new. Then the smoke detectors went off 3 times during our last night. All in all was a good stay. Just minor inconveniences and conflicting communication.

The condo itself was nice and accommodating. We had major issues with the elevators. I did not feel safe getting on the elevators from the parking deck whatsoever. They were very slow, no air in them with way too many people packed in, doors took forever to open and you’d think you were going to be stuck in it. Some of the elevators inside the building were not working so we had to wait 30 minutes sometimes for the elevator to come. We ended up having to walk up and down flights of stairs with 5 children all ages 10 and under, 2 of which were toddlers, every time we went out to the beach or left to go anywhere. Was very inconvenient.

We Had A Great Time!

This was our second visit at Tidewater so everything was familiar and easy to navigate. We experienced a few inconveniences but none that would prevent us from returning. Overal cleanliness of our unit was satisfactory. Kitchen and Bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed to make our stay even better.

The unit was exactly as advertised. Great view of the gulf, unit had all that we needed and management responded promptly when we had one little issue with an electrical outlet. Elevators can be somewhat of an issue but being on a lower floor we mostly just took the stairs. Would stay in this unit again

Wonderful place with so much room!

This place was simply amazing. It was huge! One mile from Pier Park with all restaurants and shopping. Easy walk on the beach to the pier and a lovely view of it from the room. Just awesome! Being only on the 5th floor helped as well as the building has 30 floors, and the elevators get super busy, and the stairs were right outside of the room.

The room was nice. Elevator congestion was ridiculous but hey got my exercise walking up and down the stairs. I had to wash all the dishes before we could use them plates and silverware had food all over them in and they were just placed in the cabinets and drawers. The pots had burnt food stuck on them. The Bathrooms were nice but one bathroom shower curtain had mold on it and another bathroom around the bathrtub and shower curtain had mold as well.

Elevators ruined it for us.

I had read the reviews regarding the elevators and took a chance but the time wasted waiting on them just ruined it. There was times where we waited up to 40 minutes, and of course on check out we waited almost 2 hours. The lighting at pool areas was not working so we could not stay at pool past sunset. Furniture in condo was stained and there was food left over under one of our beds. A/C was supposed to be set at 70 but even early in the morning was never below 75 in the dining area. It felt way worse in all the rooms. Parking was horrible. Not once was I able to park on any other level that 5th floor. With access to the property only being on 2nd floor, it was awful waiting on elevators even then. I feel that for the price we could have had a lot better experience.

Everything was great. Property was clean and beds were wonderful, especially the master bedroom. I've had several orthopedic surgeries and need a good mattress. It was very comfortable. Kitchen was nice and all appliances worked great. There were even two blenders and one was really nice...Oster like I have at home. Light bulb over stove was out which is minor but we did cook a lot so that was a little inconvenient. Also master bathroom shower head badly needs replaced. Horrible lack of water pressure, especially for the master bathroom. Family complained the opposite issue in other two bathrooms...a bit too much pressure. Otherwise the bathrooms werebin great condition. The furniture and decor was modern and welcoming and the layout of the condo was nice. It was wonderful to have a 3-bedroom 3-bathroom condo on the beach. Communication from Realjoy was prompt, thorough and excellent. We were able to make great memories. Would love to stay there again in future

Room was wonderful- the owner of unit keeps up well. The property itself is horrible!

The elevators were either broken or so slow you had a 15-45 minute wait. The security staff was rude and think they can bully anyone under 40. This was absolutely the worst vacation in my 60 years. The room itself was wonderful and clean. If I was the owner I would sell immediately before the whole world knows the properties dirty little secret.

Tidewater exercise program

Overall experience was good. The check in went fast and the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. I was and I am still very skeptical of the one sided rental agreement with Real Joy Vacations that protected everyone but the renter. I was supported by Real Joy when we needed help with a stopped up drain and reporting an issue with the couch being soaking wet on our arrival. The condo was represented well in the advertising with reference to size and furnishings and equated to an over all good stay. The paper work for the property stated “triple sanitized” but we experienced less than sanitary conditions. The floor made our bare feet filthy dirty within minutes of removing our flip flops. The dishes appeared to have been put in the cabinet without being washed, greasy and food particles on them. We slept well and were able to prepare meals in the kitchen without issue. The washer, dryer, water heater and HVAC all performed very well. We were all able to keep from putting on weight during our stay due to the fact that the elevator situation is terrible. We had to use the steps every time we left or returned to the condo. The elevators were never available. I will have to say for the money spent versus the overall conditions of the stay I will be looking for another location next year for our vacation. Thank you very much and I plan to continue to use VRBO

I reason I gave our stay a 3 star overall is because I have stayed at almost every condominium on Front Beach Road and Tidewater elevators are BY FAR the absolute WORSE! The condo was excellent, the host excellent but having to wait 20, 30 45 and the day of checking out 60 MINUTES! for an elevator no! I have been coming to PCB for Spring Break, summer and all types of holidays for the majority of my life. Crowds, traffic, long line at restaurants and stores I am use to and have no problem dealing with but needless to say the elevators are the only reason I will not be staying at Tidewater again if I can help myself.

Check in process a mess.

When We arrived at Tidewater We were told that there was an online check-in process that we had to do before we could pick up our packet. We had not been told about this ahead of time. This delayed us about 30 minutes getting to check in which was not a big deal but on top of that Tidewater wanted to charge us a $10 late fee even though we were actually an hour early checking in. If I was sent information about this from Real Joy I cannot find it. Perhaps the email should have said you must do this before checking in for the subject line. Other than that and slow slow slow elevators at Tidewater (which is no fault of RealJoy) we had a really good time and enjoyed using Real Joy as our rental agency.

Most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in while visiting PCB.

It was a gorgeously large room full of everything we needed. Beds were very cozy and appliances are updated. We did not care for the checking in process... literally everybody in the hotel checks in at that time and its like a complete traffic jam. The elevators hardly ever show up especially during the hours of 3-6. Thank god this unit was only on the 5th floor. With that said you still couldn’t reach the ground from the stairs next to the unit... you had to get out and floors 2 or 1 and walk to the center to use those stairs. It felt like a huge maze every time we wanted to go to the pools beach or cars. The beach was beautiful the restaurant had good food and all in all the property was very clean and well-kept. If Tidewater can get there elevator system working properly to support that many guests I would come back.

The accommodations for the facility were great. The elevators are a bit of a headache however we were on the 5th floor so we all got some much needed execerise.
