Lovely Carriage House!

This adorable carriage house apartment was perfect for my husband and me. The king bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was just big enough and had everything we needed. We loved using the bikes provided to ride around and explore. Everything was just as described. We will be back next year!

Everything Was Wonderful
Publié le 28 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayEverything about the Carriage Houe exceeded the property description. It was completely furnished with everything you would need for a short vacation. It was tastefuly decorated, located in an upscale neighborhood. There was a busy highway about a hundred yards to the rear, but no noise from it inside the unit. A lighted, paved pathway 50 feet to the left of the main house leads to a 10 minute walk to the main square of restaurants and shops. The beach s just a few minutes further.. We enjoyed lunch at the Gallion and The Havana Bar and Grll & the best hamburger ever at the Cowgirl Kitchen. Shades is open to 1 AM for late night eating. The owner, Karen Geiger answers her phone immediately and is very responsive to questions or issues. We had a problem with the lock box on checking-in and she sent her son immediately to resolve it. As a bonus, he carried our luggage upstairs. The TV and WiFi worked fine, but more instructions on using the TV would have been helpful. All in all, it was a great stay.

James, you and your beautiful wife were just delightful guests and Greyson, my son loved meeting you guys. I hope you will come back again soon to visit Rosemary Beach as I have even more restaurant suggestions for you to enjoy. Paradies has the best steak in town, and wonderful atmosphere. Quiet Stay in Rosemary

The bikes at the home were a nice touch and the private access to the beach is nice. We would definitely stay here again in the future with how reasonably priced it is.

Disappointing stay
Publié le 9 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall the property needs some significant care. The bed sheet was so old and pilled it felt like we were sleeping with sand all over the bed. We had to use the flat sheet to lay on and could still feel the roughness. The stone patio is extremely uneven. The fountain was almost empty but full of debris. Be aware that the stairs are very steep. The unit is only about 50 yards from highway 98 so there was a LOT of traffic noise especially large trucks and motorcycles. There is NO freezer capacity in the unit, only a beverage refrigerator. The property next door was partying and it was impossible to drown out the noise. Overall, we would not stay here again and suggest you could probably find more attractive properties.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review Brenda. We will of course install new king sheets immediately. There is a full size freezer/fridge in garage for your use as well as a washer/dryer, beach chairs, umbrella plus 2 bikes. The home next door does have a pool, but if you had called Rosemary Beach Security, they would quickly shut down any noise problem. The uneven pavers by fountain are supposed to be a natural walkway, and were approved by the Architectural Committee. From inside the Carriage House, you hear none of the noise you describe, and most of our guests go to the nearby parks, pools, beach and restaurants during their visit to enjoy the amazing European Community. The steps outside all are built to standard code, with about 8” risers. As for the 3 tier fountain, it can be filled by a blue hose during your stay but is not self circulating. Leaves do accumulate in it quickly, so I will let landscaper know to address that concern. Again, we appreciate your feedback to help our future guests have an amazing stay.

Well Emily, we have had quite a few engagement showers and wedding parties at the main house, and the Rosemary Beach venue in the Town hall is gorgeous for a beach wedding. We are so happy about your recent engagement and hope you will come back each year to celebrate such a special time in your life. We also have 3 other properties that could accommodate a small beach wedding or a Bridesmaid weekend with private pools, one home faces the ocean plus another one at St George Island faces the Bay. I can recommend a wonderful private Chef if you want to host a spectacular event here in Rosemary, Watersound or Sunnyside Florida.

Family Getaway!

Poor check in, but overall a good stay
Publié le 30 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayAlthough we had a poor check in experience due to our cleaning being delayed over 3 hours (which was worked out and I was given a cleaning refund so I do appreciate that from the owner), the location was absolutely perfect and we so enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, the pool, and beach. Parking was available in the driveway which was great and the bikes were a nice touch! The best neighborhood on 30A in my opinion!
