First of all the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and always had a kind greeting. One lady working the front desk (with blond and dark hair drooping over her eyes) was the exception. She was stern and unapproachable.
Given this is a beachfront hotel and appears to be a bit on the older side, it was an excellent place for the price involved. Very affordable and great beach access. Although they state they aren't handicap accessible, I probably didn't read the details appropriately. The beach access room I booked was actually two floors down from the parking lot, and no elevator.
There was also no indoor latch or chain on the door. I would have felt a bit safer had one been present. Not that I felt unsafe, one just never can be too careful.
I would stay here again, despite those things mentioned above. For the price, there are trade-offs. And the friendliness of the staff was superb.
