Hope you like to shower in the dark

Location was great, clean, comfy beds, had pretty much everything we needed except in the only bathroom with a shower the light did not work. There was no window or anything to allow any light in the bathroom so we had to take a shower in complete darkness the whole week. I notified them of this within 24 hours or our arrival and was told maintenance would contact me shortly but I never heard from anyone in 5 days. The info I was sent regarding the parking fee and pool gate code was also wrong. The information I was sent said the parking fee was 20 per vehicle, but it was actually 40 per vehicle and the pool gate code was wrong, luckily the security guard was super nice and helped with that problem. Other than these few issues, our stay was great. I would stay here again but know to bring a lantern for the bathroom.

Outdated with electrical problems

This specific condo could use some deep cleaning and updating. There’s no TV in the guest room with the two twin beds. The lights in the master vanity room and upstairs bathroom wouldn’t work, they would come on then flicker and turn off. The outlets downstairs all stick out being a safety hazard. Upstairs balcony sliding door doesn’t lock, another safety hazard. No Keurig. The location is great. The pool was great. I would not stay at this condo though if I came again but I would stay at tbe complex. Hard to communicate with since it’s not family owned, you have to reach out to the company.

Great location and grounds.

We stay in portside every year love the location and grounds. Had a problem with the ac and it was fixed with good time. Place was clean and nice. Hoping to stay next year.

Portside is the best!

Portside is a beautiful property with 3 excellent pools. It is very close to the beach, which is not very crowded. Perfect place for families. The specific condo we stayed at was really nice. We have stayed at various Portside Condos for the past 22 years. To improve, this condo could use a big pot for boiling noodles, a pizza cutter, a 9 x 13 casserole dish, hot pads, pot holders and updated utensils. The most important upgrade should be the addition of a lock to the front door like you would see in a hotel room. I say this because you enter a code to open the door and the handles, both inside and out, are easily opened by our 1-year old, allowing her to go right outside. We had to sit the cooler in front of the door to keep her in. Minor inconveniences that could be easily remedied. Overall a nice place to stay.
