Family Time

Our family enjoyed a nice little getaway here before heading back to work and school. Overall, our stay was good, though the rainy weather caused a few hiccups. We chose this hotel because of the Pirates and Mermaids activities, but unfortunately the rain kept us from joining in as planned. Since we couldn’t spend much time outside, it would have been nice to have a greater variety of TV options available. Breakfast was tasty, though I would have loved to see a few more choices, like oatmeal, cereal, or yogurt. The staff was wonderful, our room was comfortable, and the beach itself was beautiful

Very nice staff from day 1 to day 5! Helpful when needed as well. LOVE the pirate crew & activities, The mermaid & pirate crew were amazing & very considerate of the children. Our room was kept tidy and clean every day with fresh linens. Grounds were kept cleaned daily. Only 2 issues we had were the ice machine on our floor didn’t work -no biggie! When we got to our room a roach ran out of the ac vent- killed it and moved on. Started noticing them more when we leaving and packing they were running away behind the fridge/ entertainment area. Hoping we didn’t bring home any hitchhikers!

I was not expecting this qualify of hotel for the price. It was half the price of other sea view hotels and I loved the activities for the kids. My daughter loved the foam play party. The breakfast was great the room clean and the women who checked me in was absolutely amazing. Paloma was so kind and went out to her way with a smile to accommodate me and my family. I will be coming back here every time.

The free breakfast buffet was surprisingly better than most hotels in this price range. Donna and Leslie at the breakfast buffet were very courteous. We had a moisture condensation issue in the room after our first night, but a young black lady with what seemed to be an Island accent did a remarkable job cleaning up the problem. She provided excellent housekeeping service the first two days. Ashley provided excellent housekeeping for the remainder of our stay. All of the staff were friendly and courteous. There was ample parking. All of the rooms are gulf front. This is not a fancy hotel, but it is an outstanding choice in this price range. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Excellent beachfront location with nearby restaurants and shopping.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. The hotel itself wasn't my favorite part. The staff was. Ronda was the amazing female who checked us in. We were early and she gave us a choice to check into a room they had available or wait on another one and she would give us our wristbands and call us when it was ready. That is what we chose to do and we had an amazing room. Thank you so much Ronda! Now let me tell you about the security there. My husband got a little tipsy and lost his wallet. We had no idea. Last I knew it was in the safe and I guess he was too tipsy to remember. Their security got it and kept it for us and then called us the next day to come get it. They waited all morning for us to remember. I wasn't so tipsy that I didn't know I had lost my shoes so I had already been in their office asking about my shoes. But no word about his wallet because we never knew until they called me! Thank you Hunter and Dwayne! Security rocks here. You will be safe. Security is everywhere and someone is always watching the cameras thankfully, but not judging. They are NOT judgy. And that brings us to several other employees who helped us and made our stay amazing. Thank you Ronda, Hunter, Dwayne, Pablo, Matt, Mandy, Dawna, Brian, and Leslie! You guys made our stay amazing and we booked again for October already!

It was a nice hotel overall. The breakfast is not a buffet but they do serve you. We never seen any mermaids which were promised when we got there. However, the pirates were awesome playing games with the kids. The view is PERFECT!! the rooms were clean. They don't come clean your rooms everyday, they only switch your towels out. Easy access to the beach was the best part!! We got the room with a kitchen and it was fully stocked which was nice!

We checked in late and the lady at the counter was short & somewhat dismissive. She was overwhelmed with guests calling in requests. Long line for breakfast if you aren’t early. The pool & hot tub were great! The access to the beach was excellent. The room was a good size.

Home away from home

I've been staying at Days Inn in Panama City Beach since high school years, long before the internet...lol. This has always been a great property. Its seen several renovations since the 80's, but its always been great staying there. They have just gotten better. Most recent trip was awesome. I love how they've kept 'The Grotto' in their theme. Housekeeping is great, friendly smiles and very accommodating. The staff in all are great, always welcoming, its like going to a second home.
