Host was a 5 star. Apartment itself was very clean and functional. Some drawers in the kitchen and bathroom no longer stay closed and the kitchen utensils are minimal but nothing you can’t work around. Our timing was unfortunate in that the pool directly in front of the unit was being upgraded so the noise was unavoidable but nice to see they were at least working on improving the building amenities. The shape of the complex is pretty bleak, if you can ignore that and appreciate thats reflected in the cost.YES, we would return.

We enjoyed the balcony watching the ships and pilot boats goung in and out of the Panama Canal. The apartment was very nice. Esteban was a pleasure to work with. We paid for him to pick us up, food shop and show us around the island. We also had him drive us to the airport. He speaks excellent English and was super easy to work with. Would stay again.

We enjoyed the apartment and views watching the ships sail to the canal. It’s very peaceful and Esteban is a lovely host, very responsive and kind. The property is a brief walk to restaurants on the causeway, and if you walk a little further there is lots of variety. There are also street vendors along the causeway for snacks and bike rentals. If you’re looking for a quiet stay away from hustle/bustle with beautiful views, this place is for you!

The perfect view!

This place is both beautiful, and very peaceful. I watched the barge's from the balcony every morning. Estaban is the perfect host, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. He even provided transportation for me, which saved me money. He is a really good man. I would definitely stay here again.

Empezamos por lo atento fue Esteban en todo el tiempo que tuve instala. Primero fue a recogerme al aeropuerto después me llevó al supermercado para comprar algunos alimentos.Cuando llegue al lugar estaba espectacular la vista hacia el mar con los barcos pasando era increíble. El departamento estaba limpio y muy equipado con todo lo necesario. El lugar esta localizado en una årea segura y cerca de muchas diversiones. El årea de afuera necesita un poco de atención especialmente la piscina. Yo volveré a este lugar sin duda.

Great location!

The host was very helpful. He met us in person on our first day and showed us his favorite restaurants and grocery store. He was extremely helpful. The place is in a great location and secure. I would recommend taking an Uber to downtown if you go there. Driving in the city is not for the faint of heart, but Ubers cost us only 3-5 one way. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Great view

We loved our stay at this property. Esteban picked us up at the airport, took us to a grocery store, and showed us around the area before check in at his property. Once we were on location, he showed us the amenities, got us hooked up to wifi, and made sure we had enough supplies (soap, shampoo, toilet paper). The place has a great view of the canal and boats from both the living room and bedroom. The pools were wonderful. The place was very quiet and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The area was very safe even for my mother and I to be walking around at night. It is close to the ferry terminal for any excursions to other islands or through the canal. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent apartment/location

The apartment and the owner were excellent! The property was as described and pics shown. The unit itself was super, the complex is in need of some refurbishment, but it did not negatively impact our stay. We absolutely would stay here again! The location was perfect for seeing the sights, the canal and for getting to all the places of interest.

Out of the City location. Fantastic views. Quiet, off the beaten path. Superlative host. Gated, private, felt very secure and safe. Gate guards are very friendly and efficient. Property area is kept clean, though or seemed some repairing was taking place. (Pools) All in all, very happy with our stay.

Had an amazing time at Esteban's condo. Spent a week working from there (fast and reliable internet) and watching ships go by. You really have a front-row seat to all the action in the canal. And I can't stress enough what a great host Esteban is. He does speak perfect English. He picks you up at the airport and then stops at a supermarket with you (since the shopping options are limited if you're without a car), AND gives you a quick tour of the city. You do pay him for that, but it's so worth it! Not having to worry about how you get to your place from the airport after a long flight (and being tired) is simply priceless!

Beste Lage

Die Lage der Wohnung an der Av. Amador ist einzigartig. Die ein- und ausfahrenden Schiffe des Panamakanals haben wir vom großen Balkon beobachtet. Fitnessraum und die großen Pools haben wir gerne genutzt. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Esteban hat stets seine Hilfe angeboten. Wohnung ist wie beschrieben.

It’s a small world after all!

We stayed at Esteban’s wonderful unit for 8 days. The views from the balcony were beautiful. You get to watch the ship traffic for the Panama Canal plus amazing sunsets. The unit was clean and comfortable. The AC and fans kept it nice and cool. We cooked a couple of nights and found everything we needed. Ordering Ubers was super easy. To top it off, my husband and Esteban found out they both took the same State of Alaska ferry in the Pacific Northwest (USA/Canada) for years for their respective jobs. They waxed quite eloquent about a Chilean worker named Francesca. Should I be jealous? LOL. Will stay with Esteban again.

Perfect Short Trip

Stayed at this property for 4 nights just doing a relaxation vacation. The property manager, Esteban is outstanding. They provide a shuttle to and from Tocumen International Airport for a small fee. The apartment was clean and very nice. The spacious balcony overlooks the mouth of the Panama Canal. There was limited, but good, birdwatching from the balcony. I will return to this place!

Everything was wonderful

The entire trip we raved about how perfect this place was for us. We loved sitting out on the front balcony watching the massive ships come in and out from the Panama Canal. We loved being located on the Amador Causeway and had close access to old town where we visited most. The place felt empty and was very quiet but we felt perfectly safe the entire time. Now to get to the best part... Esteban, Esteban was a highlight of our trip. We loved our time with him as he picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. He is a genuine, kind, interesting, and very special man. He was the perfect host and made us feel comfortable and taken care of immediately. We plan on returning and staying in touch with Esteban. Highly recommend this place and anywhere Esteban hosts.

Wonderful experience

I stayed at this beautiful and peaceful condo for 7 nights, since I arrived I had the most wonderful experience. The owner Esteban and his family were on top of every single detail to make me stay safe and amazing. I had my grandparents with me and they enjoyed seating at the balcony watching the boats going up and down through the canal. Beautiful view, cleanliness at the condo, peaceful and with a lot of option for good food around. I will definitely be back to this place because wonderful memories are in my heart.

Esteban was wonderful. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Took us around and show us some of the restaurants and markets. The property was clean and within walking distance of everything. It was also easy to get around my bus, taxi or Uber. Great location and host

They stay was great. The host Esteban was very attentive and helpful from the start until I left . He was always prompt in responding to any inquiries that I had. The area is nice and has all your necessities close by. Restaurants, bike or scooter rentals , a playground area for the kids . I got a rental car so I could venture out a bit and there is parking here who was very convenient. I recommend to anyone looking to visit Panama

We had THE BEST time!

Esteban and his helpers are absolutely fantastic! Check-in and checkout were smooth and the apartment is so comfortable. Entire area of the causeway is very safe. Everything you could possibly want is just a short walk away. Even the property security guards are friendly. We had a great time. Will definitely be back!
