After a long drive, all we wanted was a good nights rest. That didn’t happen. I paid extra for a “suite” , but got a room at bates motel. Once we entered the room there was sand all over the floor that you could visibly see. I dismissed it because we are at the beach and sand is hard to clean up. After we got settled in and getting in bed it felt like I just fell on a metal floor. I pulled back the covers and you could see the springs trying to come through the mattress. The middle of the bed was sunk in, almost like something heavy had been sinking on the bed for a long period of time. Luckily, if you want to call it that, I got the suite which happened to have a pull out couch. Not the best sleep I wanted but it was better than sleeping on metal springs and rods. The “heated” pool, not heated. The free WiFi, yeah. WiFi didn’t work neither. I will never stay here again. I have stayed in some rough places but this has got to be in the top bad places.

I called the day I was supposed to check in to cancel. Spoke to a representative on two separate calls. She said she couldn't do anything on her end and I would have to speak to expedia/hotels.com. I spoke to expedia twice, they said they couldn't reach the property. The next day I got an email saying I was a no show. Piss poor service. If the answer was no I shouldn't have had to wait a day to receive the verdict.
