Basic hotel close to the beach

The hotel is very basic and in need of an upgrade. It suited my needs as was in Cyprus for 4 days for a wedding. As for a longer stay it's not for me. The hotel is very basic and in need of updating especially the rooms. Very clean though. Food breakfast. I wouldn't say it was great but edable. Twice I bought food for dinner, let's say not brilliant the squid was tough as old boots and the spaghetti mince was not edable hot spaghetti and cold mince. I returned it. The pool however was great very clean and quiet. I wouldn't say it was good for families with small children as nothing for them to do,saying that it was perfect at the pool for older adults as the can swim in peace. The hotel is far away from the main attractions although you can get a bus need by to all of them and the bus is cheap. Not ideal if like me you like just to come out and have a walk round the shops. No entertainment of any kind in the hotel. But as I said suited my needs for 4 days.

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in

Right after viewing four reviews which were unbelievably good and I must admit I completely fell in to the trap its time to post a proper truthful review! This hotel was awful from the start to the end. Considering the fact it has three stars the services were very poor. As soon we arrived the receptionist without checking our booking confirmation asked us for the credit card to pay again even though we paid online when the booking was done. Please don't provide them credit card details or they will happily charge you twice. Cleaner entered our room without nocking on the door at 10am and you even have to pay for the hairdryer which I think its quite ridiculous! The room had an old furniture which I don't mind so much but the state of the room was not presented well. Carpet was dirty, sheets were ripped and very old kind of a darker shade of white, lets not talk about the mattress. The bathroom was clean but had mould and after I was showering the pole which holds the shower came off. The toilet seat was coming off when you sit down and the towels are dark green to cover the fact that they actually don't wash them properly. The hotel has a pool area but after I saw how dated and dirty it is I skipped that and only went to the beach. Overall it was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel at all, it is not worth ÂŁ60 per night and I honestly don't know who gave them three stars.

Apalling !

What a waste of our free night ! No way is that a 3 star hotel, it was appalling ! Reception staff were incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. There were stains on the bedsheet when I pulled back the covers. We banged our heads on the shelf above the bathroom basin when trying to wash ! Breakfast was pathetic, the hot food trays were not checked and replenished when empty.

Clean and close to beach

Nice and clean hotel with friendly and helpfull staff. Ideal for budget and also next to beach. Even though it is an older building it was a very pleasant stay and would stay again.
