Classic 50’s Beach Bach - Handy to Everything

In the heart of Paraparaumu Beach, the ideal location for an escape from busy lives. The beach is so close you can smell the fresh sea air and hear the waves. Stroll down to local cafes for that lazy brunch before hitting the golf course or enjoying the beach.

The Bach is set back from the road ensuring absolute privacy and is amongst mature trees providing shade for those long hot summer days. You will enjoy the compact nature of property and the flow out to a large deck for relaxing with family and friends.

Includes Sky basic and Wifi

Notes:
- The single beds are bunk beds.
- Standard checkin is 2pm and checkout is 10am. These times can be changed by arrangement if circumstances allow (ie no adjacient booking)
- We take pride in providing a clean place. If you elect to self clean, cleaning products are located in laundry cupboard. Vacuum cleaner, mop and cleaning cloths are provided.
- Rubbish is to be taken away by guests (if practical).

Just as advertised this is an older bach, clean and comfortable, in a great location a minutes walk from beach, shops and cafes and yet quiet and private, in an elevated position to catch views of the sea and Kapiti Island, and good afternoon sun, for a very affordable fee. We appreciated the excellent communication from our hosts, thank you.

Our stay was ok, but found some basics lacking and the property has had some renovation, but there is still a lot to be done to bring it up to scratch. Firstly the building is old and decrepid, with rotting weatherbords evident. The bathroom window ledge has been taped up and painted to hide the rot, with the outside so rotten, it's a wonder the window frame doesn't fall out. The house needs repiling, as you're nearly running from the bedroom to the kitchen. Most doors don't fit well. Venetian blinds old and tatty. The above oven fan is disgusting. No female hygiene container in bathroom. Lounge poorly lit. The 2 tin stools in the kitchen are disgusting.The site should be taken off the market until improved, and guests shouldn't be asked to take their own rubbish away at end of stay. Host was easily contactable, and beautiful view of the beach and Kapiti Island

A spacious home, handy to the shops and beach. We were very thankful for the air conditioning. Easy to find and nice and quiet. The master bedroom was nice and spacious. The deck needs replacing and it looks like the host is replacing this now.

Amazing..... Kapiti Island is a beautiful place to see in the morning and taking a stroll down memory lane along the beach.. Managers/Owners are very easy to communicate with and very accomodating. As a person who grew up in the Kapiti Coast, this will be mine and my family's destination spot. Hoping to beable to come back with whole family next time..... Well worth the stay... Fabulous mini breakaway for 2 ladies on a road trip. We had a lovely comfortable night in. The bach is warm, clean and has everthing needed. Highly recommend this lovely beach bach. Would love to come back in summer.
