The apartment was perfect for us: three large rooms (bedroom, living room, separate dining room), decorated in a cozy and lovely way, very comfortable. They all connect or can be closed off from each other. The balcony has a small table and chairs for having coffee while gazing at the Eiffel Tower. Excellent restaurants and food shopping right nearby, some even on the same block. We loved the quiet neighborhood after a day in the center of the city, but the Avenue Mozart, just a short walk away, has lots of activityâshops and restaurants. There is only one a/c, in the bedroom, but it served us well during a hot week, especially with open windows in the other rooms. Very serviceable kitchen and bath. We recommend it highly.
Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Getting to meet Madame and having her input on our stay in Paris was the highlight. We recommend all the local restaurants. Everything you need is within 5 minutes.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment is in a lovely and quiet area. It is conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, and metro stations. We were in Paris to attend Roland Garros, and the apartment is within walking distance of the stadium. The host met us at the beginning of our stay and had someone meet us again at the end. She provided a helpful overview of the apartment and made a great recommendation for a delicious restaurant. She is a lovely person. The dining area and living room of the apartment are spacious for a Paris apartment (in my opinion.) The view of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony is spectacular. The dining room, living room and bedroom have wonderful large windows which let in lots of light. Renters should be aware that this apartment is someone's full-time residence. meaning here is very limited space for your clothing and food supplies if you choose to cook. I really enjoyed relaxing in the apartment with the windows open, listening to the sounds of the city. But my favorite time was enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony while gazing at the Eiffel Tower. Very special.
Mme Nevo was very kind to show us around her wonderful apartment. We very much liked the many full length windows, letting in natural light, and the view of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony. We felt we experienced a rare situation. Many thanks.
Could not ask for a kinder or more responsive host.
The apartment and building are both safe and charming.
Lots of good shops in the neighborhood along Ave Mozart. Itâs really a Parisian neighborhood, devoid of tourists and traffic snarls. If your business takes you to the center of Paros allow yourself a good 40-50 minutes to arrive at Place de La Concorde by car.
The linnen and towels and cooking materials are all well appointed - but oddly there was very little silverware? Perfect spot for 1 or 2 people. And lovely view of the Eiffel from the balcony.
Te flat is beautiful, very French and very clean. The process of checking in and out was simple. The location was near shopping, a walk to the Eiffel Tower. itâs in a safe neighborhood wich was important to me as I was traveling alone. Elaine was so helpful about how to get around by bus, local shops and gave me many ideas of what to do. I spent most of my time at the French Open - Roland Garros - which was just half a mile away and an easy walk. Elaine was wonderful to work with, easy to contact and took time to orient me to the surroundings. It could not have been a better experience.
Eliane's apartment is just what we wanted, classic Paris!
If you want to live like a Parisienne, this is very good. Classic French furniture, small shower, double bed. Not "American" at all. Very nice neighborhood with several patissieres and restaurants just a block away. Easy access to the metro and train. Also very good internet.
Eliane's apartment is a joy! It is beautiful and bright, with lots of sky to see--big French windows in every room. Lovely art on the walls, good carpets, charming furniture. The windows are state-of-the-art and can be closed easily. And the curtains can easily be drawn if you want to keep out the morning light.
The apartment had everything: a washing machine, a dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator. AND it's an elevator building!
We also loved the neighborhood. A bakery is just steps away; so is the grocery store. Tuesdays and Fridays there is an open-air market three blocks away, selling everything you can think of, including great prepared foods.
This family neighborhood doesn't have crowds of tourists or lots of noise, but if you love to hear birdsong and see French people walking their dogs, this is the place for you.
And if you want to go where the crowds are, the Metro is just three blocks away.
Upon check-in Eliane, who is quite kind (and speaks English), spent a substantial amount of time with us and imparted enough information so we could take advantage of the neighborhood, which was completely new to us. During our stay, she was available if we encountered issues or had questions, which were solved quickly. All in all, a pleasurable stay that increased our knowledge of Paris.
Very close to three metro stations. Large, roomy apartment. Excellent food shopping nearby with good boulongeries. Elevator to 5th floor a real plus. Little balcony with view of the Eiffel Tower. Noisy morning garbage pickup if windows open. Lovely dining room. Bathroom somewhat cluttered and needs replacement of nozzle. A bonus was the washing machine, and clothes dryer quickly on racks. The owner was welcoming, and available to answer questions, a lovely person.
We enjoyed our month in Ălianeâs apartment very much. It was the perfect place just to be in Paris. The best part was the wonderful dining room, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning with croissants from nearby boulangeries and dinner after a trip to the local outdoor market. The kitchen although small had everything you could possibly need, and the bed was firm and comfortable. So good there was an elevator and a washing machine. There were several good restaurants close by and two metro lines plus four convenient buses. Eliane was kind and very responsive. When the good WiFi and TV went put, she immediately got it fixed. I totally recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to live like a Parisien. What fun! Thanks, Eliane.
We stayed in this lovely well appointed and comfortable flat for nine days and enjoyed it immensely. The area is quiet, but has all the shops nearby that you will need for a short stay and some self catering. We sampled the local bakeries for croissants each morning, quickly settling on a favorite one, and tried the nearby restaurants and found excellent food, too. It was a marvelous way to enjoy Paris, slightly away from the usual crowds of tourists. Our hostess, Eliane, did all that she could to make our stay in her truly lovely flat a wonderful experience.
The apartment is in a perfect location for walking in Paris. plenty of room for 2 people to be very confortable. I cooked dinner each night. A few issues beyond the owners control, but they were addressed. Ive spent a fair amount of time in Paris and this is by far the best location. I can't wait to go back next year. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay
