The area around where the hotel was located is a bit dirty…. but that doesn’t affect the ambience of the hotel.

This property that we stayed in was a superior room The bed was a full-size bed The overall size of the room is very small The bathroom is very small no washcloths The hotel itself is outdated, but it’s kind of a unique outdated…. boutique style hotel. The breakfast was OK. Maybe that is just how they have breakfast there it was croissants and pastries a couple of different cheeses. Scrambled eggs, juice, coffee, water The customer service there was excellent They were all very helpful and nice Close to this hotel was too very nice bakeries A grocery store Two really nice restaurants right across the street and several other eating places down the other streets just outside the hotel…. We would have rated this hotel a 5 except for the size of the room and bed….. The hotel is also not too far from the Arc and the Eiffel Tower … we took an Uber to most places that weren’t walkable…… it was not hard at all to get an Uber.

Allocated room 21, nicely appointed and decorated, separate shower and toilet, very comfy boutique style. Free wi-fi, complementary breakfast included within booking with good selection of food (something for everyone and the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had). Within easy walking distance of Charles de Gaulle Etoile Metro station, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, hop on/hop off Tootbus stop with several bistros/brasseries and small supermarkets nearby. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, with complimentary beverage machine in a lounge off reception and an honesty bar. Definitely hotel of choice when I return to Paris.

Staff was friendly, personable, welcoming, respectful, and helpful. We know space in Europe isn’t at the top of the list but I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Marceau Champs Elysées, which is strategically in a great location to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and sights. I will definitely return to this hotel.
