Welcome to the finest SKI IN, SKI OUT rental property in Deer Valley!  At our Larkspur home, you have a PRIVATE entry door, a PRIVATE garage, and a large private balcony.  At our home, there are no common elevators or common lobbies.  Maintaining social distance is easy at our Larkspur home. 

Our Larkspur at Deer Valley is located in the high-end new community of Empire Pass, with dramatic and scenic views to the valley below.  Just 50 paved level steps to the Silver Buck run and the Silver Strike chairlift.  Our mid-mountain location allows you to get the jump on the base mountain traffic for easier access to 'FIRST TRACKS' skiing.   Imagine stepping out your front door, and within less than a minute quickly strapping your skis on and heading down the run without facing any crowds!  Also, our HOA's  private on-demand shuttle service can take you anywhere in Park City and Deer Valley for free, and local delivery services can deliver groceries and meals for your convenience.  Our aim is to provide a stress-free and memorable ski vacation for your group!

Our Larkspur home is recent construction with all of the perks of a newer homes, with brand new HDTV's including a new 65" HDTV, central air conditioning, kitchen with top of the line commercial appliances, stone bathrooms, and stone fireplace. Gas grill and extra-large balcony. Fantastic unobstructed views over to Silver Lake and greater Park City!

Be prepared for the breathtaking views that await you the instant you step into this luxurious, 4-bedroom + Loft 4 1/2 bath, ski-in, ski-out chalet. Situated in the perfect location for enjoying Mother Nature's glory.

Creatively designed and impressively decorated, with a spacious great room where you have a front row seat to 20-mile downrange views of the Wasatch Valley, the Silver Strike Ski run and the natural vegetation amidst the greenspaces in the elegantly designed Empire Pass community. This 3250 square feet townhome has lots of entertainment space as well as private areas.

Designed for maximum luxury and comfort, the large, open great room include vaulted and beamed ceilings, and a huge wall of windows to take full advantage of the wonderful big-valley views. Exquisitely decorated, the living area, dining area and upscale kitchen include a marble stone bar, stainless appliances and NO WALLS to obstruct your views. Relax in front of the large stone fireplace or take in the big games on the widescreen 55-inch Sony HDTV.

Luxuriate in the vaulted-ceiling main-level master bedroom suite with its grand 4-poster bed, and adjoining private bath with a jetted tub plus a large, walk-in shower.

Three bedrooms on the lower floor provide for a variety of sleeping accommodations for every need, with each of the spacious bedroom having their own bathroom and multiple-window down-valley views. The huge second bedroom is designed as a kids room/media room, with two sets of log bunk beds, large mountain sofa which can sleep a 5th person in the room, and a huge 60-inch Sony HDTV.

The third bedroom is decorated in Victorian style, with tall 4-poster bed and matching dĂ©cor. Has 42" HDTV. The fourth bedroom is very large and contains two queen sized mountain-style beds, making it ideal for several adults or a number of children. Has 55" HDTV. The upstairs loft includes a twin sleeper sofa and writing desk and central open location that facilities its use for kids playroom or ‘king of the mansion’ office space. Wireless internet is provided throughout the chalet.

Relax or BBQ on the large wood-beam balcony which overlooks the Wasatch Valley provides the best location for gazing out across the magnificent scenery. In the summer, the Deer Valley resort and surrounding ski areas contains many walking nature trails, trails and lifts for mountain-biking, paths for road-biking, and many opportunities for fishing, golfing, and sightseeing.


Located just 2 miles from downtown Park City's many unique and memorable shops and restaurants. Garage parking is provided.

Summer is great in Deer Valley and Park City! Great sunny weather - mid 70's to mid 80's, perfect for hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, horseback riding, hot-air ballooning, sightseeing, zipline, and the plenty of great restaurants! We have a huge balcony with 20 miles views, BBQ, A/C, and easy access to hiking trails!
WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN BOOKING A SKI PROPERTY:
1) Look for lots of pictures to see as much of the home as possible -

2) Look for mid-mountain access - makes it easy to beat base drive-up traffic to get 'First Tracks' Our Empire Pass home is mid-mountain.

3) Look for a newer property - Empire Pass was newly built since 2005, with modern kitchens and amenities - at same rates as older properties

4) Look for nice quality amenities - we offer a free Mercedes Van shuttle to take you to downtown Park City, and PC MTN Resort.

5) Look for good ski in ski out access - our townhome is the closest rental townhome to the ski runs in Empire Pass.

6) Look for space to spread out- our townhome is 3250 square feet, much larger than most 4-bdrm condos (at about 2000 sqft) in Empire Pass.

Near Park City Mountain Resort, and on Deer Valley Mountain resort. Also within 45 minutes of Utah's Alta, Snowbird, Snow Basin, Solidtude, and Brighton ski resorts.

Our 2 main reasons for renting this property were view and patio. It was indeed a beautiful 20-mile view. The patio was freshly stained the day we arrived. Thus patio access to sit outside and enjoy the view was non existent for the first 5-ish days. The smell was pretty overwhelming at first and then the stain very slowly dried. It was still slightly sticky at end of our two week stay. As clearly pointed out by mgt., that very poor timing was beyond their control. There was an awful smell in laundry room due to standing water in washer. Once rinsed out, the odor subsided. At end of the two weeks the smell begin to return, not due to same issue. Couldn’t tell why. There were spiders in lower level bedrooms. Shake your clothes and shoes. The location and view are great. The loft is well suited for a work space. Mgt. was very responsive to our issues. Overall, we would stay here again.

The house has awesome views and is a great size for a larger group. Not a bad walk to the slopes and the shuttle is great for going to town. Make sure to bring paper towels and TP as they only provide a "starter" amount and it was minimal.

Perfect Pre-Xmas Getaway for the Family

Amazing property, wonderful location with a short 50 ft walk to the trail through the trees to Silverstrike express. Check-in was easy/convenient. At night, the view over Park City is beautiful with all the tree lights light up and sparkling. Darrell provided all the details needed and was responsive to any questions we sent via email. He was very accommodating and helpful. There's plenty of room, including an extra loft for the noisy sleeper. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, you may need to double-check to ensure the staples (oil, spices, etc.) are there. We spent most nights cooking our own meals, including a couple times when we used the outdoor grill to cook up some steaks and carne asada. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations and we plan to be back. Thank you!

Epic Deer Valley Vacation

It is hard to properly summarize what a great trip we had to Deer Valley and Park City. Darrell's properly is world-class from the furnishings to the view. We had two families consistiyof 4 adults and 6 children ranging from age 4 to 13. The location and shuttle service allowed us toove freely without any worries. During our time we enjoyed the early season record snow fall. This location is perfect for ski in and ski out with a short flat walk to the Silver Strike lift. Deer Valley conditions are world famous and we had high expectations, each and every expectation was exceeded. Darrell was very accommodating and answered every request without delay. It was a pleasure to call this property home for a few days and we can't wait to come back. If you are looking for the perfect home at the perfect location this is it!

FANTASTIC!

The townhouse was in a perfect location with a view that can't be beat! Having the free shuttle worked very well since we had no car. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked. Darrell was most accommodating! He responded to questions quickly and graciously allowed late checkout. I would recommend this property!

Great Location

Thank you Darrell for a wonderful stay at your property. The location was amazing and the views from the back deck were incredible. We were there in the summer and enjoyed the easy access to hiking. This home was perfect for our family! So nice to each have a bathroom connected to our bedrooms.

Perfect rental for our Utah and California family members to reconnect! Deer Valley is gorgeous in the summer. The HOA shuttle was so convenient to take us to Park City when their wasn't any parking on Labor Day weekend. We hope to go back and stay again next year!

Great vacation home for our family - a real find!

We really enjoyed Darrell’s home in Deer Valley! The home is beautiful, clean and well maintained and appointed. Very spacious, with extremely comfortable beds for our family. Fully equipped high end kitchen and finishes. Stunning views of Park City - more beautiful than the pictures. The balcony is large enough for entertaining our big family, and has nice furniture and a grill. Great location in Deer Valley - the proximity to the main part of Park City was excellent. Darrell was very easy to work with. Thank you for making our experience great. We can't wait for our next getaway to this beautiful home. Highly recommended!

Not Great

Not a good experience. We love to cook and planned on cooking our dinners. The oven did Not work, so that really changed our experience. We spent a lot of money and time planning this. I contacted the owner and have had a lot of back and forth communication which was not good. This place needs a deep cleaning and some organizing . Every cabinet in the kitchen is stuffed so no room to put anything. Lots of construction going on all around, very loud. The garbage cans were full so we hauled away a lot of our trash. There was a car parked in the garage leaving only one spot to park a car. Lots of troubles. No toilet paper is the icing on the cake.

Nice property but there are too many problems with the condo to list, the biggest being next door to construction which was all day, every day and VERY noisy . Reached out to owner and he was unhelpful and dismissive. Very disappointed!!!

Best home we've stayed at in Deer Valley!

What a beautiful home! We've rented several homes in both Deer Valley and Park City and this was the best all things considered. The ski lift is right outside the front door, very accessible and great for getting first tracks. Gorgeous scenic views over Park City from the great room and balcony! There was lots of space to share, plenty of room for everyone in our large group (12 people) and every room had a large HDTV and its own private bathroom. The home is beautifully decorated and the well-stocked kitchen is top of the line. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms were very spacious. Great place especially with covid - with the private entrance and private garage, we didn't have to interact with anyone if we chose not to. Only complaint is we only had parking for 3 cars, but there’s also a free shuttle service that runs you from the house to other parts of Deer Valley or Park City whenever you need. The owner Darrell is very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely wonderful time and will be back!

Beautiful home, right next to ski slopes!

This home was amazing! Scenic views and great location right next to the Silver Strike ski lift. The house was very comfortable for our group of 12, much larger than most other places we have stayed at in Deer Valley over the years. We enjoyed our evenings chilling on the sofa with the fireplace after a long day of great skiing. We ate in most nights and the high end kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. We came here with another family and the setup was perfect for us, our teenage sons especially liked their own space in the loft. Darrell was a great host with excellent communications with our group. We've stayed in a number of places in Deer Valley, and this one is the best overall rental all things considered - the location cannot be beat. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Great location- short walk to lift

Kitchen poor quality - mix matched wine glasses- pots pans.( not enough wine glasses or coffee cups for 6 people) Poorly furnished Worn linens. Tired decor. Electronics need updating. Not enough living space outside of bedrooms for 6 adults much less as advertised. HVAC was too hot or too cold. This is Not a five star property. Owner offered to trade 5 star rating for my group. Don’t need it. Just being honest about the experience. Would have paid more to get more. Owner is a nice guy. Very responsive. He needs to spend some money upgrading this property. This was the consensus of my group.

Father Daughter Ski Trip

Had the best year yet. The place was great. Ski in ski out was the way to go. Best side of all the mountains with less ski traffic. The club access is great, thank you to Alex for always taking care of us. Looking forward to some spring skiing.

Best Location in Deer Valley!

We take our adult kids on a family ski trip each Christmas and have rented in Deer Valley nearly 10 times. This fabulous home is the best ski-in/ski-out location! The short walk to mid-mountain access is awesome and very easy for all ages to use. The owner was so kind and responsive. The home is wonderful and the views of the valley cannot be beat. The complimentary Empire Express shuttle was a fantastic amenity. We all hope to return to this home in coming years! Thank you for sharing with us, Darrell!
