The sink and the shower were cracked from age and dirty. The carpet was worn out. The heat register had wire stapled to the wall running up to a thermostat. The staff was friendly, but, it was hard to understand them because English was clearly not an easy language for them.

Park Falls has few hotel options, but Northern Lights is always my top option. Convenient location on Hwy 13, right next to the bowling alley and a Kwik Trip! Nothing fancy, but always comfy and friendly.

The room was clean, pillows were great, staff was courteous, and the hotel was quiet. I liked the prominent notice what quiet time was and that it would be enforced, not that it was at all necessary during my three night stay. Thank you!

This motel could really use a deep clean and some major updates. The rooms are outdated and in need of an overhaul. Even though it’s listed as non-smoking, the entire place smells strongly of cigarette smoke mixed with old food, like ramen noodles. Overall, it feels neglected and would benefit greatly from renovations and proper cleaning.
