Excellent vacation cottage for a big group!
Publié le 16 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay at forest hideaway- were impressed by the arrangement that fit nicely all of us (big group of 6 ppl various age group plus a pet). Clean, tasteful decor, spacious, close to beach, well stocked kitchen, easy check-in/ out process- top marks! Only feedback would be when it is hot - say 20c or so hard to cool the place down without an a/c.

Yes, it seems the days of mild days and cool evenings may be behind us. Seems to be earlier each year.
I do not believe the fans for all rooms were out during your stay and I apologize for that.
We are currently looking at some cooling systems for summer as formal/installed A/C units are not allowed in the complex. We appreciate the feedback and hope we can welcome you in the future,

Forest Hideaway in Tanglewood

The host, Alexis, responded quickly to any questions we had.

“Forest Hideaway by the Ocean” is the place you want to be for a relaxing vacation
Publié le 20 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is exactly as described on the VRBO site. It is immaculate, comfortable and stocked with everything you would need for your getaway. Located in a beautifully maintained neighborhood, it's close to all the amenities Parksville has to offer and many wonderful restaurants. Rathtrevor Provincial Park is just a couple of minutes walk from the front door, with beautiful coastal walking trails, picnic areas and a beach that stretches for miles. Alexis was a very gracious and accommodating host who promptly responded to any questions we had. We highly recommend this property and definitely hope to stay here again. Thanks for everything Alexis.
