We stay frequently in Pattaya hotels. Our usual choice was unavailable, so we, two couples, stayed at Arcadia Mansion. The level of customer service at reception was atrocious. Both of our parties had seperate disagreements with different reception staff, making both groups unhappy. One of the reception staff let down the tires on our car. That’s how bad this place is. It is a shame, because, while the hotel is run down, it has potential, if better managed. There are too many better places in Pattaya, to justify a stay at Arcadia Mansion.

Good for the price.

The room was adequate. The room smelled I think from the AC and I couldn't turn up the temperature. Room was clean and the refrigerator, television and wifi worked well. Very small balconey. No pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Still it was good for the price.

I stayed at this hotel over ten years ago when it was first built and this is my only reason for booking the place for a few untill i found a condo to rent. When i got there after not seeing the place since that first time staying there i noticed right away that the inside of the hotel looks really old, like 80's old. I get to my first room and it look bad and the toilet wasn't cleaned and still had crap inside of it . The walls were dirty and in serious need for some fresh paint. The decor looked like the 80s, they've really let this place go. I requested another room and was given the option between two. I picked the better of the two crappy rooms, but ill tell ya, it took everything in me not to say screw the money and just leave, but then i realized im not rich and had to stick it out. If you dont care what kind of room you sleep in, this is your room. Good Luck!

Great Location, Spacious Room

The location is excellent; at the end of a small dead-end soi so very quiet, but still right in the heart of Pattaya Central, so very near all the attractions of that area. The room was spacious and adequate, cleaned every day, reasonable wifi, powerful aircon, hot water all day, working fridge and kettle, international channels on the TV. Negatives: 1) The aircon unit leaked loads of water continually; so much that 2 buckets needed to be placed underneath to prevent a flood. Nobody attempted to fix it. 2) The advertised balcony was tiny and triangular; not somewhere you would actually want to sit and use. 3) Only liquid soap was provided in the bathroom, but no shampoo or other toiletries.
