Excellent venue, just noisy neighbours

The downside and the only reason we couldn’t give 5 stars for overall stay was that we were kept awake until after 2am by the people in the next room who had the tv on loud all evening and it sounded like it was mounted on the wall behind our bed and we could hear every word. Whether it was due to thin walls or just selfishness by the occupants, it spoilt our stay as we had very little sleep. Not sure if the tv could be repositioned or whether some sound insulation is possible. Shame as it could have been an enjoyable stay

Lovely quiet country Manor House, comfortable and clean rooms with and excellent pint of Wainwrights Gold at the bar. Recommended.
