This stone cottage is situated in the village of Catterlen, near Penrith and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Please note: The week from the 12th August isn't accepting short breaks, only a full week.
The Space:
Woodhead Farm Cottage is a charming sandstone resting in the small village of Catterlen in Cumbria. Hosting three bedrooms; one twin, one double and one king-size double overlooking the farmland. There is a family bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC and also a ground floor shower room with WC and basin. There is also a well-appointed kitchen/ diner and sitting room with a formal dining area and a gas fire. To the outside is a delightful enclosed courtyard area with patio furniture and there is also lockable bike storage and off-road parking for 3 cars. There is also available an electric vehicle charging point at an additional cost for usage - directly payable to the owner. Set in a wonderful situation, Woodhead Farm Cottage is a great place to enjoy at any time.
The Neighborhood:
The market town of Penrith is located between the Lake District and North Pennines. It offers a wide choice of pubs, hotels, restaurants and entertainment along with a museum, and Millennium Trails round the city streets. Within easy reach of the town is Rheged â a visitor centre with shops, restaurants, exhibitions and a cinema screen. Brougham Castle (The Windsor of the North), Long Meg and her daughters (the 3rd largest stone circle in England) and the city of Carlisle are all a short drive away, as is the scenery of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
