Family Friendly Bayside Condo With Pool And Fishing Pier

Docks on Ole River is a quiet and family friendly bayside condo. The condo complex offers a large swimming pool, fish cleaning table, outdoor grilling/seating area, and fishing pier. This cozy 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is perfect for a getaway. The condo can sleep 8 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has a full size bed and a twin bunk bed. Living space offers a full size pull out sofa. There is a spacious balcony overlooking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The condo is fully stocked with kitchen amenities and washer/dryer. Provided is the initial starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry soap.

The complex is 0.5 miles away from the public beach access. The complex is also close to the Perdido Key State Park. There is boat/trailer parking at the front of the complex. The complex does not have a boat ramp, however, there are public boat ramps nearby. The boat slips are for owners only and cannot be used.

We would definitely consider staying again. It was a great location and view. The only draw back is that the building isn't very well insulated for sound and movement. We heard all the activity above us and once it went late into the night. Lots of footsteps & maybe floor games were clearly heard.

Loved the porch view

The condo was well equipped and furnished nicely. We loved the patio and enjoyed sitting outside and being able to see the bay. Check in and communication was great. The rooms are very small, so there isn’t much space to move around. The coffee bar was a great touch which we appreciated. We loved having easy access to the pool and the outdoor kitchen area is a great place to just hang out if you have a larger group of people. We used a beach access that was just a few minutes down the road and had plenty of open beach to spread out and enjoy. Our only actual negative was that the cleaning company doesn’t seem to do a great job. The owners were very responsive and were quick to have the condo re-cleaned after I contacted them. The floors and showers were the only real issues. Even after having come back out, the showers hadn’t been properly cleaned. So, not a property issue, but might need to consider a new cleaning company.

Wonderful and Relaxing Place to Stay on the Old River

Our stay was excellent from the time of booking to the actual week we spent in Perdido Key. The host was welcoming, thoughtful, and wonderful to work with--providing all information we needed for easy check-in at the rental. There were no issues with the rental during our stay--it was clean and very comfortable. The view from the first-floor balcony overlooking the Old River was fantastic and we spent many peaceful mornings relaxing and having coffee from the coffee bar that was provided by the host! This was a perfect rental for us--a three generation family traveling with small children--we give 5 stars and would love to come stay here again!
