Do not stay here

No hot water to shower as the shower head was installed incorrectly, dirty from Reno’s with paint dust drywall dust etc everywhere and little black caps. Ac wasn’t working not even plugged in then when plugged in had to reset the breaker then it kept shutting off and breaker needed reset. Waste of money. Two days no shower it a hot dusty room

Entire room was completely newly renovated. But wifi wasn’t working, bathtub plug didn’t work, tv guide didn’t work and keycard stopped working. The staff tried to get it all working but couldn’t fix some.

No amenities (pool/sauna etc), room smelt strongly of musty paint. Newly renovated but not clean, feels like they painted over dirty walls. Staff was very understanding and accommodating when it came to switching rooms but second room was dirty. Walls had obvious debris/dirt on them, bathtub had obvious dirt/spiders. Renovations were not complete in second room so there were exposed wires and flooring on the balcony that was not completely installed, leaving a tripping hazard at the front door. It felt like the room was missing things like hooks on doors, garbage can in bathroom. Bathroom only had 1/4 roll of toilet paper. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your stay. Room below us was left with an open door overnight which felt a bit unsafe. Like I said the staff was good when it came to trying to rectify the issue of the initial room but also reluctant to refund and insisted room switch instead.

The room has a good size. Beds are not so comfortable, but is not bed. Both receptionists we got were good, polite and quick to help. Unfortunately, the room wasn't so clean.

We liked the price! It was so amazing. An older motel that was renovated properly. Convenient location right across from the shopping mall, although there were a few sketchy people kicking about the parking lots. Overall, we would stay there again.

Last minute reservation on a long weekend

The room is currently being renovated. The bathtub still had some of the protective plastic in it. The bathroom fan was not functional. The sitting room had no couch and only 1 desk chair. The staff did provide a second chair when we asked. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were great and the bedding felt luxurious.

Booked the rooms for 2 nights for crew, paid for rooms and were told they could only have 1 night (again paid for 2....), they were able to stay the 2nd night after some discussion. Next they were told there was renos going on so they would have to run the hot water for 10+ minutes to get it hot, no amount of running gave up hot water in either room. So there was no showers to be had in the rooms and unfortunately we were unable to move as there was limited accommodations in the area at the time. I don't like to leave bad reviews but unfortunately this was just a bad experience all around.

Coast Hotel Penticton BC

The place was under construction. Nails, screws, and other construction debris all over the parking lot. The craftsmanship in the room was below par. Drywall dust everywhere. Drywall mud not sanded in corners. Paint on cabinets not cleaned up. Cabinets not flush against the wall. Sheets on bed were very wrinkled. I did notice housekeeper pulling sheets/pillow cases from a laundry bin and taking them into a room they were cleaning, nothing was folded just in a heap in the bin. It rained while I was there and the stairs not constructed properly filled up with water and became very slippery and dangerous. Construction workers both days I was there smoking outside rooms. For the cost I was not impressed.
