"Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink."

"Is a wonderful Hotel very clean nice staff only thing is the hallways are long and there’s only one elevator for the size of that building. It should’ve been multiple besides that great was great. This is my second time at this hotel the first time I stayed I did not know that I provided breakfast, but I found out this time and everything was good"

"This is a great place to stay when visiting Lancaster County. My stay was 3 nights (Fri/Sat/Sun) and it was very quiet each night, I didn't hear any noise at all except about 9 AM each morning. The beds was confortable and the room was very clean. Loxley’s Restaurant is excellent- I ate there each day, delicious food ! Our reunion was accomodated in a private room, which was perfect size and much appreciated! The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful and Housekeeping staff was also very pleasant. This is a great location to see Lancaster. We saw 5 covered bridges, several Amish horse and buggies on the rural roads and much more. Most of our reunion attendees are from Lancaster County and it was a wonderful trip, great to see Lancaster again ! "
