Have stayed here before and will stay here again. Staff friendly and helpful. Room & bathroom clean. Room quiet despite hotel being busy. Breakfast good and plentiful, but, on a minor note, some seat covers in dining area needed cleaning.

I used to work in a Hilton hotel and the standards of the holiday in are on par with the Hilton the hotel room was very clean friendly staff great selection on food at breakfast I found 2 Problems with the Holiday inn 1 not enough tea milk and sugar in room there was only 2 tea bags 4 sachets of sugar needs to be more after 8 hours driving the last thing you want to do is run about for tea and sugar. the second thing is i went to have a evening meal in the hotel but i ended up going out driving to find something to eat as the hotel does not except cash it is a cashless hotel they really need to start excepting cash. overall the hotel is good and would recommend to everyone the shower was great it was hot in many hotels ive stayed in the showers have been lukewarm the bathroom and shower unit was very clean too

The room was really cold. I have health issues and the heating was almost non existent and I was awake coughing with the cold from around 4am onwards. There were no heated towel rails or bathroom radiator and so following a shower in the evening the towels remained damp throughout the night. The reception / concierge was very good but at breakfast there were a lack of staff, cutlery, and tables etc… The overall experience was poor.

Nice welcome, room ok, but room has tv which clicked regularly throughout the night despite being off. Breakfast was nice but the fresh fruit option was poor- old apples, no banana

The hotel itself was way better than I had expected (room amenities, bar, breakfast, cleanliness, free parking - all great!), but unfortunately there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night due to someone smoking in their room, so an incredibly disturbed night’s sleep.
