The staff is super helpful and friendly, the breakfast is not great but it is a different concept and definitely worth it if you are in Philly on a business trip and need a quick bite. Rooms are clean and comfy. The area is super convenient to navigate the city.

We really liked our stay here. Very quiet and walkable to Reading Market. The main hotel is fairly bare bones for the food/toiletries but it has a bar/restaurant, games, and lovely staff.

The proximity to the Reading Terminal and City Hall is wonderful. The Aloft hotel room was smallish but perfect for my wife and I. Daily room service was excellent. The fitness room is excellent and is interesting because it’s the location of the old bank vault (in which I did some stretching). Carry your key for security to get in and out of the hotel and elevator use. We would stay there again in a room with a better view.
There is nothing like the Philadelphia City Hall.
The Reading Terminal Amish section breakfast, lunch and bakery is amazing.
Philly is where Rocky was filmed. Run up the art museum “Rocky Steps”.

The location is ideal for getting around downtown. There are small odds and ends that could use improvement at the hotel. The room I booked was oversold and I was not told until check in that I would have to settle for another option. The fixture holding the shower gel inside the showers fell off before anyone used the bathroom. Complimentary toothbrushes/toothpaste are also unavailable here but staff was able to give directions to closet convenience store.
