GOOD STAFF COBWEBS TOO MUCH
Our stay at comfort was ok. The place a bit rundown and a bit off the beaten track. Saying that checkin was good with forms allready filled out for us. We were in our rooms within 5 minutes of arriving. The girl that checked us in also cooked omlettes for us in the morning and she was nice and helpful. With a bit of revamp and clean up this could become a nicer place to stay. The prices were good so no complaints there.
Our stay was ok for 1 night.
Value for money guesthouse. Maintenance is poor but staff and owner are very willing to correct the situation. Only they need to be informed!! Besides the owner, most staff do no speak English. Many Khmer and Chinese eateries in the neighborhood both air conditioned and along the pavement. No fancy cafes and not touristic.
Huge, clean, comfortable room with all the amenities we wanted. The staff could not have been better. So kind and helpful. They really went out of their way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. At first, we thought the location was a bit out of the mainstream, but after arrival we discovered that tuk-tuks and taxis were cheap and it only took minutes to get to the hubs of activity and city sights. Would recommend renting a motorbike for ease of getting around, even to outlying areas. The restaurant offered food at very reasonable (cheap) prices. The selection was limited but delicious. This place was a highlight in our travels in Asia.
The service was excellent. The staff were always friendly, and extremely helpful, despite some language barriers. The room was fine, but the air conditioner didn't work very well, which made our stay a bit unpleasant. The hotel is situated a little outside of the main parts of Phnom Penh that a tourist would want to frequent, so staying at a hotel closer to the river that is a bit more expensive would likely work out to the same price per day.
