Nice staff, room was clean. They have a "Night-Club" next door now, on weekends. Ask for a room away from it.

It was a great hotel. Walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale, Scottsdale Stadium (where the Giants Spring Training occurs) and the Fashion Square Mall. It was excellent. We really liked the breakfast choices, the big screen TV and the amenities. Great stay! Thank you

We stayed 2 nights and specifically chose to book this hotel bc of the positive reviews we read. Our experience was entirely different than what we expected. We areived to find the underside of the toilet lid with a hige splatter of vomit drilling down it. Each night of our stay, we woken up precisely at 2:38am by cars streetracing and doing smokeshows in the adjacent parking lot. For a solid thirty minutes, we were subjected to noisy, drunk club goers walking past. I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere if you are traveling with children.

Enjoyed the hotel and would given full 5 stars but it is located next to a night club which the patrons get extremely loud on the weekends around 2am.

We booked a king and got two double beds which is fine if it's just a quick trip but my husband and I were doing a relaxing staycation where we had to sleep apart. It completely ruined the vibe. The front desk said they would fix it for our second night but they never called and we didn't want the hassle after already unpacking and were just annoyed with this place overall. If you're looking for a quick stay this hotel does the job but if you think you're going to be relaxing and enjoying the room look elsewhere. There is a nightclub that shares the parking lot which got loud at times. It made sense why they were ear plugs provided in our room when we arrived. Cleanliness was pretty good. We had to absolutely slam the bathroom door if we wanted it to shut. Overall outdated. Highly recommend they upgrade to smart TVs

The area of Old Town Scottsdale is really nice, but the hotel is very outdated and in dire need of renovations. The mattresses were hard, the carpets stained, fixtures and TVs older than necessary for the location and price. The breakfast was fine . Probably the biggest disappointment was the level of noise that we experienced during the entire stay. The first room we were assigned had ear plugs and a sound machine on the night stand. We figured it was a nice touch for those that had trouble sleeping or liked to hear soothing sounds at night. After excessive noise and people yelling outside the hotel our first two nights, we asked for a room change. We later found out that the first room (518) was a "club" room. Sounds nice, right? Wrong! Club rooms are located within earshot of the night club across the street. This the need for ear plugs and sound machines. This should have been revealed upon check in, so that we could decide if we wanted to stay, get reassigned, or move to a different hotel. Turns out that even the second room that we stayed in (611) also allowed for the club sounds, but this room did not include a sound machine or ear plugs. We understand that there's always a chance that there may be outside sounds that can be heard, but when it's all night, it is an issue and again, should probably be a part of the check in review, especially when they are prepping rooms for it. With renovations, perhaps it would be acceptable, but until then, not worth it.

This hotel needs MAJOR TLC. I would go even further, it needs to be renovated from the ground up...starting with a terrible smell from the 70's that still lingers around, through the staff looking scruffy (although very helpful) to the state of the rooms...OMG, old and nasty, i was scared to touch anything. Comfortable beds though... Someone needs to invest in this property so it reflects the images obviously taken 30 years ago and,therefore, misleading.
