Everything about this home was elegant, clean, and exactly what a vacation home should be. The pool was cool and refreshing, we enjoyed meals outside on the comfortable patio furniture. Everything we needed was provided, pool toys and floaties, cookware, makeup wipes and a few extras. One thing I noted was an abundance of towels (which were necessary), and dishware. Our dogs were relaxed here and so were we! Also, this neighborhood is stunning, exotic, and whimsical. This house couldn't have been placed in a better location. The restaurants and local coffee shops were top notch, and we spent every evening at Chapparel Lake for a walk. Thank you for such a great trip!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The location was convenient to Tempe and Scottsdale.The house itself was clean and John was easy to communicate with. The highlight of the house is the backyard. It is a great space for relaxing and definitely the "wow" factor of the home.One small issue is you can hear everything from the level above while in the master bedroom, so it made it a little difficult to fall asleep if the individual in the master goes to bed before the people upstairs.Overall, it was a great house and I would rent it again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies.The proximity to restaurants, shopping and hiking was perfect, while still feeling quiet and private on the property. We enjoyed the outdoor space but were surprised how cold the pool was considering the outside temps were 90-100 degrees. In hindsight, we should have asked for it to be heated. Sound travels easily in the house so you may want to bring a sound machine, especially if using the larger bedroom the basement.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The location is fantastic—just a couple of blocks from a large park—and the neighborhood feels welcoming and convenient. Host was very responsive. House was clean and had decent kitchen gear, including a Nespresso unit and reverse osmosis water filter. Bedrooms were all nicely furnished. Plenty of hot water (really hot, actually) for 5 of us to manage showers after cycling all day. Neighborhood is quiet. Things to be aware of: sound transmission from upstairs bedrooms to downstairs master BR left us all saying that the left upstairs BR in particular needs carpet with thick padding to help damper the sound; bed linens were very light weight polyester and smelled of laundry product fragrance; sofa needs to be replaced - the back cushions were not supportive of one's posture, seemed mangled from use.Overall, our party of 5 had a good stay.

John’s property was perfect for us. Check in was easy and space definitely catered to our group. Shortly after arrival a very competitive putting contest broke out and days later after a few rounds of golf nearby the pool provided perfect relaxation. The property is located nicely to most of Scottsdale attraction and we were able to easily use ride share services on the days we didn’t golf. John was super to communicate with as well. Nearly a month before we arrived he was kind enough to share several of his favorite spots when I requested some suggestions. He was spot on with his picks. May I pass long you should grab breakfast at JOJOs Coffeeshop without doubt.

Overall, our stay was great and the house itself was fantastic. The only downside was the situation with the heated pool. The listing advertises a heated pool, but at check-in we were told it would be an additional 50 per day to heat it. That felt a bit misleading and should be made clearer in the listing. Other than that, everything else was wonderful.
