Overall good but not great as expected

It's a Sheraton...I kind of expected more. The restaurant had good food but the atmosphere was mediocre ... the pool was very nice and nicely maintained... linens need to be inventoried...staff was very pleasant... didn't know the rules at breakfast so missed it altogether...loved the location of the hotel! Basically, just the restaurant was a major disappointment...

Spring Training favorite!

Hotel was close to Sloan Park. Parking was challenging and front desk was not very warm and inviting. Would stay here again during spring training.

Great for Spring Training Games

Right across the parking lot to Sloan Park. Great hotel for spring training games. So convenient. Quiet rooms and comfy beds.

Close to the ball park. Hotel seemed old and rundown. Rooms very dark, not enough light. Carpet was ripped and worn. Generally not appealing for the amount we paid.

I stayed at the hotel about 4-5 years ago and it was in much better condition. Our room had a burned out light in the bathroom that made the room very dark, the soap dispenser fell off the wall while we were there and the shower floor had been repaired with what appeared to be the wrong sealant and was a different color than the grout. In the room, the chairs were very worn. That said, the housekeeping staff was excellent and very helpful. The bed was very comfy. The male desk clerk who checked us in gave us incorrect information re dining times, options, but the bar staff was great. All in all, you can't beat the convenience of walking to Sloan Park .

The location was the best part, but the hotel needs to be updated. We had to change rooms twice because the air conditioning was not working. The staff was very nice about moving us, but repacking and moving two times in 4 days was a hassle.
