Our experience was exceptionally negative. Upon returning home after dinner, we encountered difficulties in accessing our room due to the malfunction of our room code. Consequently, the front desk leaves at 10pm leaving us with two emergency phone numbers, but despite repeated calls exceeding twenty, we remained unanswered. This situation heightened our apprehension, given that we were female guests alone outside the hotel. In an attempt to secure alternative accommodations, we discovered that other hotels nearby were fully booked due to the fact that it was ASU’s parent weekend. After several hours of searching, we finally found a suitable place and spent the night without our suitcases, medications, or essential belongings. The following morning, we contacted the hotel to request a call back with a manager. Despite our requests for a call back from either the owner or the manager, we received no response. Only one to say to come and get the suitcase. Consequently, we returned to the hotel and retrieved our suitcases, requesting that someone contact us to compensate for the inconvenience caused by the hotel and the additional Uber rides incurred. As of today, four days have passed, and we have not received any further communication from the hotel. You would think they would contact us back with a sense of urgency and remorse. Instead, it was the opposite treated with some of the worst and rudest customer service we have ever experienced. Needless to say our entire weekend

This was our second stay at Tempe Oasis and this stay was as wonderful as the first. We will definitely be back. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and modern. We loved having a washer/dryer in the unit. Our unit overlooked the pool and made it very convenient. The location is great and a short trip to visit our daughter at ASU. We liked being close while also having shopping, dining, convenience stores and the like nearby. Parking is great, we never had a problem finding a space. We felt safe and secure. They frequently checked in with us to make sure we were happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Check in was easy, as I had already received my room number and door codes before arrival. I especially appreciated the keypad entry, it eased my anxiety about forgetting a key/keycard. The room was spacious and clean, but there was a lingering musty smell from being an older building which was easily remedied by my aromatherapy room spray. Fantastic accommodations, and I definitely enjoyed the complimentary snack box provided. Good location with easy access on foot or by car to food, shopping, and entertainment. I wish I remembered to pack my swimsuit, because the pool area looked like a great place to relax and refresh. I’ll be back the next time I visit Tempe.

Phoenix Newbies
