Lovely Cottage

The cottage was lovely The cottage was lovely. Comfortable and clean in a quiet location. One small comment is hair washing was a challenge as there is no shower or shower spray option. Amenities weren’t far away but did require a drive. Host and stay were a bit irritating with lots of emails apart from the important one regarding check in details which was rather last minute. The most irritating was the constant requests to take out damage insurance at a ridiculously high premium or pay a deposit and be subject to an admin fee with the return of the deposit at some unspecified time. I did neither but it was still irritating as the strong implication was it was compulsory. So I would happily return to Holmlea but it will not be via Host and Stay.
