I looked at the reviews before booking this motel, but none of those reviews captured what my 2 friends and I witnessed. There were no light fixtures on the ceiling; all the lighting was just fluorescent strips of light sawed out of the wall and through the molding. There were huge stains in the carpet along our walk down the hallway. In the room, there were stains on the carpet, wallpaper peeling from the wall, the peep hole had tissue in it, the light fixtures were broken, water stains on the ceiling tile, the furniture was beat up with the wood being exposed underneath, the refrigerator was shimmied with boards to level it out, one of the chairs had a huge rips/slash in the fabric, the concrete on the balcony had chunks out of it, and one of the comforters had what looked like cat claw marks/rips. A complaint was made to a front staff named Seph, about the conditions, but he showed no concern or effort in taking action with the information he was given, he and Chanice, the other staff member, did not seem to care that we were unhappy with our stay and there was not a thank you for staying, safe travels, or well wishes of any kind. We will never stay at this motel again. Make sure to tell everyone we know to avoid this Choice motel location, and think twice about staying at or recommending Choice motels. A letter, with pictures, to corporate requesting a full refund of the room is the top priority!

The entire place is in need of work. Even from the outside, their sign isn't completely lit up. As you walk through the inside, either the walls, the ceiling or the floors are falling apart. Our room had mold all over the walls and ceilings in spots. The floor was stained, sticky carpet. In the pool room, there were used bandaids all around as if they had been there and not cleaned up. The property definitely needs a complete remodel.

I understand that they are doing renovations to the property, but something could be better.I had to ask for towels (was giving right away didn't have to wait) and did not get any room service stay was only 2 days but could have ask if we needed it or to take to trash. Staff was very friendly and professional. Glad that it was a quiet hotel.Yes i willl stay there again .If you have kids some of the rooms do have bunk beds that was a plus for us

The hotel itself was dirty insi'm on all floors. I'm understandable for some due to remodeling service. Was helpful somewhat when you could talk to him. And and all the equipment and elevators were broken down and. Unable to use The shades and blankets were dirty. Had not been changed from previous stage. Just the bed made shower was filthy, dirty and pure.

The breakfast is always delicious and they keep things stocked. Pools clean and always friendly people on staff. I specifically went out of my way to stay again on my way home!

We have stayed there before and will stay again. The hotel is within walking distsnce of the Island and other things of interest. The hotel was undergoing renovations so there were some inconveniences such as having to quite a distance to get to an ice machine and the elevator near our room was out of service. Our room was nice and clean and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony.

Not worth a second stay.

The room we stayed in was cleanish. When you opened the door yes, it looked clean, but when you looked down at the floor it looked like somebody walked through with muddy boots and the floor was so sticky and nasty that your feet stuck to the floor and you had to wear shoes, there were holes in the wall.The bathroom toilet bearly flushed then ran for 5 min before stopping. There was only one elevator that worked and the front desk person was very unsympathetic, to the lack of mobility of my husband. I don't expect places to change their ways because of his issues. But I do I think that a little empathy would go a long way. There was not an elevator close to the room where the breakfast was served, so we did not try the food.

Clean but older hotel in need of updating. Hallway carpets stained and worn. Room a little better. Bed comfortable. Indoor pool and hot tub cloudy. Will not be staying there again. Front desk reps were nice and helpful.

This property is very old. Needs updates and improvements. Very strong perfume smell throughout all the hallways. Would definitely pay a little more to stay at a nicer hotel next time. Pics on website are deceiving

FIGHT IN THE HALL, THE WHOLE 3RD FLOOR SMELLS LIKE WEED. WENT TO THE FT DESK AND TOLD THEM AND NOT A THING WAS DONE AND HERE I WAS WITH 2 ROOMS 6 KIDS AND THE WAS AFRAID TO GO TO SLEEP
