Stay was brilliant - tucked away yet places not that far away. Fabulous views!! Stunning to wake up to. Walks around property, nice & easy with views all out to the Pacific. Unit was great, rumpus room was perfect for 'teens' to have their own space. Hosts very accommodating. Sorted extras (mattress) quickly as Son is quite tall & sofa bed would have been an issue for him. Lovely avocados on toast - nice peaceful, relaxing getaway. Great fishing spots across the road, SHOPPING ! Only half hour drive or so away - Loved it.

Sleeping to the sound of the sea

I wanted a quiet place to stay & this was perfect. It was not only nice to hear the sea but to see it & wake up to the sun rising from it. The surrounding avocado orchards made for a nice morning stroll too. Mark & Fleur are very welcoming while respecting total privacy. Thanks you!

Unfortunately not as advertised

Starting with the positives, great location and clean. However not suitable for a family of 4 with tall teens. The place is tiny. The property is attached to the main house, and there is one bedroom, the second room is a kitchen, dining, lounge and has two couches that pull down into beds, that are literally hard to sleep on with rods in the middle. The teens were way too tall for these couches, so ended up sleeping on the floor. There is no seperate bedroom (not 2 bed) with futon beds as the ad stated. There are no real cooking facilities, except a BBQ outside, which means you are bit stuffed if it’s pouring with rain. The bathroom is tiny with no windows and is a thoroughfare to the bedroom. It was not we expected after 10/10 reviews. So here’s an honest one. We left after one night.

A stunning Bach with glorious views of the ocean.wonderful for our little pet dog to run. Hearing the waves at night so peaceful . Just needs a beach umbrella to sit outside and have a cool drink

lovely spot for time out

We loved the little suite with bed and futon comfortable. Amazing views and peaceful site with only the crashing of the waves in the distant. Facilites are all you really need and comfortable for myself, mum and my dog. Great set up if want to use the games room facilities and meet up with other travellers if there.

The best place for relaxation!

Really loved our stay here, the view and the sounds of the waves. We really needed this. Hosts were lovely and accomodating. Only thing was, the listing said it was a 2 bedroom, but it’s a one bedroom and the other beds are in the same room as the kitchen, which made it a bit tricky with a 5 yr old and a 5 month old. But we made it work 😊

My two boys (aged 9 and 7) and I had a fabulous time at this lovely little place. Stunning location, amazing beaches, kind and thoughtful hosts, table tennis and a pool table, goats to feed, and even a puppy to play with. They’ve asked (repeatedly!) if we can come back again next year.

Fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean greeted us on arrival. The weather that day was not the best but it improved over night. The Man Cave entertainment shed was a great place to wind down after a long drive. The Rustic guest suite was very comfortable and just as we imagined it to be. The water pressure could be a little better but not a major problem. A phone call from the owner that afternoon made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful views and fantastic hosts

We were blown away by the panoramic views of the ocean from the bach. Great location and lots to do in the area for the whole family and even the dogs. Mark was a great host and we enjoyed use of the man cave. Would definitely book again.

A special stay in an amazing location

What an amazing place Mark and Fleur have to share. Spectacular views, amazing sun, and such a caring welcome. Lovely and quiet, great man shed where my son and I battled away for supremacy of the pool table. Special mention to their wonderful dogs, whiwhi was a charmer! Hope to return in the future.

Great place, great hosts

Pacifica has breathtaking elevated views and lovely surroundings. The bach unit offered everything my family needed. We enjoyed the location, being away from the crowds but also reasonably close to both Ohope and Mt Manganui. Mark and Fleur were excellent hosts.

An amazing adventure in the most spectacular location

Gorgeous sea views, high on the hill and amazing surroundings! A perfect 3 night stay. So much fun for our kids (2 and 4) and us! Mark and Fleur are such wonderful hosts - warm, friendly and so hospitable. We loved our time here so much (especially the outdoor bath). Kids had a blast and we would love to come back! Beach is only a very short drive away and some amazing lagoons.

Absolutely recommend this place , incredible hosts , very helpful and were lovely and gave you pure space. So quiet with insane views of the ocean with plenty on offer nearby, fishing , great pub , absolute bliss . Would definitely go back

Great host. Property was very suitable for a weekend relaxing getaway. Minimal cooking facilities but outdoor BBQ. Great views ,waking up to the sounds if the beach. Great pub down the road at Matata. Barn with pool table. We would go back.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay, was nice and private and quite, the only thing that i would say that could improve the place was cooking facilities and utensils other then that awsome place and we will be back sometime 😀 The barn was definitely a highlight too us along with the outdoor bath unfortunately for us the weather wasn't the best but hopefully next time it is. Tha ks for having us!

Great place to relax

What a wonderful place! Nicely secluded, but not too far away, lots of privacy, cosy unit with enough amenities for a short stay - bbq, microwave, fridge, oven - all quite small but perfectly functional for a few nights. Mark was a superb host, available to say hello and get some local insights. The view over the beach is amazing, watching the waves crash and the islands in the distance while sipping a wine or beer is truly relaxing.
