Simply Amazing! A++ Experience
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family really enjoyed staying here. The property is lake front, perfect 3 ft sandy depth for kids to play all day long. Kids really enjoyed kayaking while the dads enjoyed the aluminum fishing boat. Property is clean with all the amentities needed. The owner is super friendly and is only a call away if needed. I would recommend to all families looking for that upnorth feel without the long drive. We have rented through vrbo for close to 10 years and this is the best one we have been to yet! Thank you Joe, we will be in touch again for sure!

Fantastic Stay

The home was clean and cozy and our host communicated everything we should know about our stay. We had a lot of fun enjoying the lake and kayaks provided! Would definitely recommend to friends and other guests who are looking for a relaxing home away from home.

Publié le 16 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOnly negatives are couldn't change the thermostat (it was really cold in the house) and didn't respond to texts. We had neighbors come yes at us that we were using their dock. We were just standing there and got hollered at!! So awkward!

Hi Rachel, The phone number that I have listed is a LANDLINE (NO TEXT) that we have had for 34 years, I do have a cell phone that I rarely use or carry, So I don't give that number for messages. If you would have messaged me thru VRBO, I would have responded within one hour as I frequently check my email and messages. The Carrier Furnace and Air Conditioner were new in 2017 just before we bought the home and is well maintained by my son-in-law who is the owner of Price Heating & Cooling. My cleaning people always leave the thermostat on 60 degrees as recommended by Consumers Energy Co. The residents of this Sub are very territorial regarding unfamiliar persons walking on their dock even though they don't have docking rights on that easement for ingress & egress to the lake. They should be much more understanding because they know that this home has been a short term rental since 2018. Our dock always goes in by Memorial Day Weekend, Sorry, No one asked if the dock was in the water yet. Best Regards, Joe & Laura Sproull

Very nice and met our needs

Thank You for your 5 star review and for leaving our newly renovated Baseline Lakefront Vacation Home very neat and clean like you found it. I am sorry but we didn't like the cold rainy weather last weekend either. I am very sorry that I was not able to honor your late night request to extend your check out time by two extra hours because our next Vrbo booking was scheduled to arrive 3 hours after your check out time which would have boosted your rating above a very satisfactory experience.
