The cabin itself was awesome! Just like I expected from the photos and descriptions. The projection screen, stone shower, and hot tub were our favorite parts. And we did appreciate that it’s dog friendly. However, a few days before our stay we received a notification that the host would need to stop by on Monday morning for the exterminator to spray around the inside of the house. Ok, we can be flexible. Though we were leaving Tuesday morning by 10am, not sure why they couldn’t just wait until then. When they showed up, the host walked in and instantly berated us for “moving furniture” because we slid the decorative table under the TV to the side so that we could plug in our game system. The exterminator went into our bedroom and sprayed chemicals all around the bed and we had our small dogs with us so I was worried about the chemicals. It felt like an invasion of our privacy and really took us by surprise. They were there less than ten minutes and then left. About ten minutes later, she came back and knocked on the door to accuse us of smoking in the house. We had our bag from the dispensary sitting on the table so she probably did smell something when she walked by, but we are very respectful and would not smoke in someone else’s home. They specifically said that smoking on the porch was ok, so we did. It felt incredibly judgmental and really put us in a bad mood for the one day we were staying there. I would not rent from them again based on this interaction.

Everything was very nice in this place. It was very unique and very different and we enjoyed it. We went in and ate at Chris Ruth steakhouse which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for people to stay at. The only thing I would like to have seen is a permanent wall of some sort around the hot tub for privacy as it was too windy the night we stayed to put the curtains across. I was scared they might get tore up so therefore we just did not put them up. All in all extremely nice place and the owners were great. We got to visit with the owner the next morning very nice people.

The silo was a great getaway:) So comfortable and clean. Fantastic decor and alot of work went into the home. Hot tun was very roomy and super clean. We met the host upon arrival, he was welcoming, kind and informative. Could not have had a better weekend stay. We will definitely be back

Words cannot describe how incredible this place is! We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday in the hot tub, cooking some tasty steaks, watching the Olympics downstairs with a fire, and then the superbowl on the big screen upstairs. Very clean, cozy, comfortable and unique with amazing craftsmanship, antiques, and not to mention a quick 5 minutes to the store. Thanks Steve! We WILL be back!

The cabin was amazing! It was cozy and unique! It was immaculately clean and organized which made it very easy to relax. Super cozy rustic cabin with everything to hibernate away. Super clean. Im a house cleaner and I was really impressed. Loved the hot tub early mornings and late evenings. Loved the big screen laying in bed making us feel we were at the movies. Quiet location with close amenities. Win win!

Great place! Everything I could need was there. Plenty of towels, dishes, pots & pans. The hot tub was amazing as was the shower! I learned that the owners built the entire cabin themselves which made it even more amazing! Excellent communication. Decorated super cute with tons of antiques. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and very beautifully decorated! The bedroom set up was very comfortable amd OMG the projection screen! We got to.to watch the Chiefs season opener on it! Incredible! The kitchen was nice with everything we needed and the outdor patio was comfy for sitting out and reading or morning coffee. And the hot tub was wonderful as well! Almost forgot to mention the shower! We loved it! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and wouldn't mind coming back again!
