Let me start by saying I NEVER write reviews, but our stay at the Boggs Mansion was amazing! We loved every minute of it and will absolutely be back! It has such a cool historic feel and is just a beautiful old property all around the building. Karen is the friendliest and most accommodating host! She goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay.

This is an EXCELLENT property. The inn keeper is delightful. She and her staff carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs for me as I have a broken elbow. Everyone made us feel right at home and made sure we had everything we needed. The home is absolutely stunning. The rooms (we saw 3) are clean and beautifully appointed. Not over wallpapered; not overdone. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the linens were perfect. They have a sweet little pub on the 1st floor with real glasses for any kind of wine, a frig with sodas and water that are offered gratis. There’s a parlor with fireplace also on the 1st floor where we watched, wine in hand, the snow fall in the beautiful park across the street. Breakfast was just the right amount and delicious. As you can see, I can't say enough positives about the Boggs Mansion! I did not find anything wrong or cheaply done here.

What an interesting and historical place to stay. Built in 1888 it had all the charm of a place built in that period. The staff were fantastic, so accommodating regarding letting us stow our luggage, and very helpful regarding any other needs we had. There was a couple of noisy ladies staying next to us one night, but obviously that had nothing to do with the staff at Boggs mansion, it's unfortunate how inconsiderate some people are. But oh well, it certainly won't taint our nice memories of our stay there. Would highly recommend for a family gathering, I believe they have 8 rooms?

This place was perfect! The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Our host, Theresa was so accommodating. The common areas were stocked beyond what we could possibly use. Also, Its walking distance to the stadiums and the casino. Total bonus! We will definitely be coming back!

What a lovely surprise. Picked out this property on a whim as an overnight stay as a midway point on our drive to Indiana. It turned out to be a hidden gem that we wished we could enjoy for longer. We enjoyed the Executive Suite on the 3rd floor. Be aware that the inn is undergoing some renovations and, while that didn't impact us much, others may feel differently. The wi/fi was a little spotty on the 3rd floor but worked well in the common areas on the first floor and the huge front porch. The best part of our stay was the host, Cyndi. She was attentive but not intrusive and was great to chat with. The Expedia listing said there was a continental breakfast but Cyndi gave us a hot breakfast every day. The neighborhood around the inn is about halfway gentrified, but it was close to so many things. We were able to walk to dinner most nights of our stay, and all the north shore museums and stadiums were within about a 20 minute walk. Don't miss the National Aviary across the street in the park.

The room was musty and had severe water damage on the walls above bed and ceilings. There was a loud noisy window air conditioner. The size was comfortable but the room and bathrooms weee old. It was clean. There were no upgrades for Expedia VIP gold/silver. They had other rooms they open they could have chosen. However breakfast was great and staff was (Cyndi) was wonderful. location was easy and comfortable, parking was plentiful. No restaurants in area open on Mondays.

Amazing! Better than 5 stars!

I booked my stay primarily because of price and proximity to PNC Park, but oh my goodness it was better than the best hotels I've ever stayed at. No room service, but a hot, homemade breakfast every morning—deliciously cooked by Cindy, who handles everything at the inn from greeting to cleaning. She even carried my heavy suitcase up to my room. Amazing, personalized service in a serene, lovely mansion. Made my trip a dream!
