Beautiful interior and great hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were four and a dog. Kyle graciously accommodated our pet. The house was clean, fresh and well renovated. Note the second full bath is in the basement and the stairs are steep. The ceiling is low so if mobility is an issue be mindful. The bathroom in the second floor is beautiful! There are steep stairs but if you are able they are no problem. We let the kids sleep upstairs and we shared the first floor bedroom. The patio is nice and well lit at night. Although the neighborhood is in transition, the block felt quiet and safe and we were within a few miles of everywhere we wanted to go. We had a great time visiting Randyland and driving to local restaurants. The hills in Pittsburgh are no joke so we didn’t do much walking around the neighborhood. Thanks for a great stay.

Would not recommend due to safety concerns

The condition of the property is poor and unsafe, particularly if you are considering staying with children. The basement bathroom is basically unusable with very steep stairs, extremely low ceilings and many visible nails. The property was renovated but badly done, meaning there’s visible cuts in the dry wall, especially an entire door frame missing. The back patio was covered in weeds and dead plants. The front porch is dirty and unkempt. The stairs to the second level are very narrow and steep, meaning it’s not good for small children (or adults even). The neighborhood itself is pretty rundown. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. I raised these issues to the owner and was stonewalled.
